On this page of our guide to Desperados 3, you will find the fourth part of our walkthrough of mission 9 - Louisiana Voodoo. You will learn how to leave this area and complete the mission. Reaching the exit from the map isn't easy - you will have to e.g. deal with Long Coat enemies.
Our walkthrough for mission 9 refers to the map in the world atlas, which can be found on the first page of this chapter. For example, a marking (M9,5) indicates that you should find the blue point with number 5 on mission map 9.
The place where you end the mission is located in the south-west part of the map (M9,20), near the stable (M9,18). You can get there from two different directions. In the first option, you have to go through the upper camp (M9,14). The first thing you have to do is to get to the ladder next to the shore (M9,9).
Sadly, the enemies from the upper camp are difficult to eliminate - there are 2 enemies in the camp (3 if you haven't kill the enemy in a poncho standing on the platform) and next 3 are patrolling the area. You can use McCoy's gas phial to clear this place. An accurate throw can stun 4 or more enemies. On top of that, you can order Isabelle to connect the two guards from the main camp. This way, you will stun 1 more enemy. Don't forget to tie up the opponents (send more than 1 person). Once the area is secured, you can go to the ladder (M9,19) near the stable.
The second option is to get closer to the main path leading to the stable (M9,18). The main problem here are the Long Coat enemies. However, Hector can deal with them using melee attacks. Use this method to eliminate two of them - the Long Coat who guards Hector's cage and his friend walking towards Kate's cage. They meet halfway (M9,17) and then go in opposite directions.
Inside the stable (M9,18), there are 2 regular enemies and 1 Long Coat. We recommend dealing with the regular bandits first. The best way to do that is to order Hector to whistle so you can lure them away from the stable and e.g. eliminate near the bushes or get trapped in a bear trap. You can also use other gadgets like McCoy's medical bag or Cooper's coin.
Leave the Long Coat guarding the exit from the map for last (M9,20). Distract him (with the coin, Isabelle's cat etc.) to allow Hector to sneak to the right and get closer to the Long Coat. Use a melee attack to eliminate him.
Move all 5 characters to the place where you can finish the mission. Watch the cut-scene during which the heroes steal horses.
