While exploring Coruscant in the Jedi Survivor game, Cal is ambushed by a K-405 droid. On this page of the guide, you learn how to defeat the first boss from the main storyline. We've described the red attack and the droid's regular attacks, as well as outlined ways to weaken the boss.
The place of the duel with the K-405 droid
The K-405 is the first enemy in the game to have a long health bar shown at the top of the screen, but you should treat the droid more like a mini-boss and part of a tutorial.
The droid is going to catch Cal on his way to the senator's yacht on Coruscant and after dropping him in the arena, the actual fight begins.
Description of the clash with the first boss of the game
At the very beginning of the clash with the droid, the game teaches you that you can't block your opponents' red attacks. The appropriate response is to evade (Circle / B on the pad).
During combat, perform lightsaber attacks and use the Force. For standard boss attacks, rely on blocks and parries. A successful parry (pressing the block button at the last moment) can temporarily stun a droid.
Your companion Bode can help you win the battle. It is worth regularly asking him for help (hold R1/RB and press the command button). Bode's attack can temporarily stun the boss and expose him to your attacks.
After K-405 loses almost all of its health bar, the finishing attack will automatically be activated - Cal and Bode deal with the droid together.
