How to get to the Imperial Post 8L-055?
You will get to the Imperial Post 8L-055 through Marl Cavern - you can learn how to get to the cave in the section dedicated to this location. Once you're in the Marl Cavern, walk ahead towards the walls and the fuse - using the BD-1 skill on the fuse will lower the first wall, allowing you to get further through.
After a series of walls to run, you will have to use a rope with a hook to land. After getting to the platform, turn back and you will see a wall that will get you to the next place.
From there, just go upstairs and then outside. This is where you'll encounter a group of enemies and also find a rope to get into the desired location.
Some of the secrets can only be accessed after completing the final chapters of the game - the final skill needed for them is unlocked during the fifth chapter of the game.

Databank #1 - Abandoned Prospector Equipment
After using the rope leading to the post and defeating the soldiers, go ahead. You will find the first items to be scanned. Nearby you'll find a shortcut (an elevator) to Fogged Expanse.
Chest #1 - Textured Rubber
Walk ahead using the grapple hook and vines until you reach the meditation point. From there, jump down onto a ledge a little lower and run ahead.
Get over the precipice and you will find a chest blocked by a fuse.
Databank #2 - Docking Clamp Overrides
Return to the meditation point and go the other way. You will spot an old tree and a fuse behind it, on a building, - shooting it will make the zipline come out.
After landing on the mountain, head left to the computers. You will receive a databank entry.
Chest #2 - Barrel: RSKF-44
Go further by jumping over the wall, then jump down to the very bottom using the platforms. There, use the elevator.
Moving on, you will eventually come across the fuse located behind the fan. After shooting at it, you will be able to get further along the now accessible wall.
Keep walking ahead until you reach a vast room with a precipice in the middle. There, look to the right. You will see a chest in the nearby room.
