The Devastated Settlement, one of the regions in Star Wars Jedi Survivor, has a Jedi Chamber - a type of secret locations with a valuable perk. This page of the guide tells you how to reach the meditation chamber and how to set fire to the black barricade that defends access to the secret area.
Finding the Jedi Chamber in the Devastated Settlement
The chamber from the Devastated Settlement is 1 out of 7 Jedi Chambers. It is the only one that does not have a unique name, but the general premise is the same - you have to get to the room with the altar and obtain a unique perk.
Wait until your second visit to the Devastated Settlement. Solve its environmental puzzles - we described them on the page Orb Couplers in the Devastated Settlement. Use fast travel and move to the Grand Courtyard meditation point, the one in the highest part of the Devastated Settlement.
Walk by the edge next to the meditation point. Notice the lower rock shelf shown in the picture.
Grab a Relter and fly toward the aforementioned shelf. If necessary, extend your flight and circle around the shelf several times to avoid jumping from too high and getting killed.
In the new location, defeat the droids. You will discover that the altar in the Jedi Chamber is behind a black barricade. Your task will become to set fire to this obstacle.
Unlocking access to the altar with a perk
Return to any Relter and, with its help, reach the Orb Coupler from the picture, the one you used to solve one of the puzzles during the first visit to the Devastated Settlement.
Interact with the Orb Coupler. The energy stream must be directed at the rock shelf adjacent to the Jedi Chamber, i.e. the one on which you landed earlier - we marked this place in the picture.
Grab a new Relter and land again on the shelf next to the Jedi Chamber, the one you have hit with the energy beam.
You have to use BD-1's Koboh Grinder and create a blazing purple path.
Continue creating a path after entering the ruins. You must lead the flames to the black barricade. Wait until it is set on fire.
You can now approach the altar to get the reward, which is the Essence - an Ambidexterity perk that makes targets you shot receive temporarily increased lightsaber damage.
