On this page of the Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart game guide you can find the final fifth part of the walkthrough of the Blizar Prime planet. In our walkthrough you will learn how to drill for Phase Quartz, how to defeat the Goon Dropship (boss fight) and how to stop the Drill.
Drill for Phase Quartz
You will advance to the last part of the mission on Blizar Prime after completing a long ride on the rails and reaching the large Drill in the northern part of the map.
Interact with the crank in the above image to start the drilling process.
Expect a group of common enemies to appear, which you must deal with. Try not to use up all supplies from the area right now.
After winning the battle, approach the Quartz. Aim at this object (hold down L2) and throw the hammer (press Square). This will allow you to get a quest item.
Return to the other dimension
After you acquired the Phase Quartz, you were transported to a post-cataclysmic dimension. You have to start by defeating a new group of regular enemies - you can target the red explosive crates to defeat them faster.
After the battles, find the blizon crystal and hit it to get back to the dimension before the cataslysm.
Stop the Drill
In the location where you acquired the Phase Quartz, more battles will begin. Initially, only regular opponents will spawn here.
After some time, a boss will join the battle called Goon Dropship. It is a flying machine that will fly around the Drill.
The best way of attacking the Dropship is to use use strong firearms and such stuff as Negatron Collider. Take advantage of the fact that the Dropship does not change its position drastically, so even slower, but powerful, attacks are able to hit it without any problems.
Don't ignore other enemies present in the area, as they can not only clearly interfere with weakening the boss, but also hit Rivet and deprive her of health points. First of all, get rid of those enemies that can effectively attack you from a long range. Then, destroy smaller enemies that fly around.
As for the Goon Dropship itself, avoid its laser attacks at all costs. They are much easier to avoid, for example, than the large beams fired by destroyer-type bosses. Running sideways is enough, though you can hide behind rocks in the center of the arena or use Phantom Dash if necessary.
Don't forget about the opportunity of collecting ammunition and health from nearby crates.
Continue the battle until you destroy the Goon Dropship.
After watching the new cutscene, you will automatically find yourself back at the starting point, i.e. next to the spaceship. You can interact with it to choose a new destination. In the next chapter of our guide we have described the planet Torren IV, but alternatively you can also fly to Cordelion first. Sooner or later you will explore both of these locations anyway.
