There are 5 secrets to find at Cordelion:
- 3 gold bolts,
- 1 spybot,
- 1 armor piece.
Additionally, you can find 1 Craiggerbear.
Cordelion, similarly to the previously visited Blizar Prime, is related to a unique mechanic that affects finding collectibles. Cordelion appears in two versions - you will visit an inhabited hot version of the planet and then an abandoned ice version. As a reminder, the Blizon crystals are used to travel between two dimensions - you will find them while exploring this location, and you have to hit them with a melee weapon to get them.
The Cordelion map attached to this chapter contains 5 locations. You can explore areas above and below ground in two "variants". The description of each collectible will also tell you in which dimension you must start looking for the secret, and you may have to use a Blizon crystal to get to it.
It may be quite problematic for you to find all the collectibles when visiting Cordelion for the first time. Look around for teleporters similar to the one in the image above. Each portal can take you to only one fixed location - usually an important one, such as the smithy. You won't have to go through all the station areas and use all the elevators a second time.
Craiggerbear
You can find the Craiggerbear in the Surface - Frosty Planet section. You must move to the ice dimension while exploring the platform in the Surface - hot planet dimension.
Start exploring the area by going down the slippery ramps (which were stairs in the hot dimension). The plushie is partially sticking out of the snow.
Gold bolt 1
You can find the secret on the middle level, which is the area connecting the structure on the surface with the underwater complex. As you explore the narrow corridors, stop at the entrance to the northern room.
The entrance is only slightly parted and you can't squeeze through, but you should notice a gap on the other side of the gate. Position yourself so that it turns yellow.
After pulling yourself to the rift (F1), you will find yourself in the collectible room.
Spybot 1
You can find the secret in the section Underground - Hot Planet, which means that you have to move to an inhabited underwater complex. Start by reaching the room where you will see a short cut-scene showing an encounter with a friendly bot.
Start jumping to higher shelves. After reaching the highest shelf, look up to locate the balcony from the picture above - there is a rift on it that you can pull yourself to (L1).
You will meet a spybot on the high balcony.
Armor Piece 1 - Captain Starshield Chest
You can find the secret just after you hit the Blizon for the first time in the section Underground - cold planet, i.e. the abandoned part of the underwater complex. You will find the Pocket Dimension visible in the picture near the starting point.
You need to overcome a rather challenging obstacle course in the Pocket Dimension, where you have to primarily bounce off pontoons and avoid falling into the abyss. You'll also need to grab a hook along the way.
The secret you are looking for is on a stable shelf at the very end of the path. As a reminder, the items in the Captain Starshield set are extremely valuable because they allow you to earn more XP and thus level up faster.
Gold bolt 2
You can find the secret in the Underground - Hot Planet section, specifically while using the Magneboots to travel through the sea depths in the northwestern part of the map.
As you walk across the bottom in the flooded part of the facility, look around for the location shown in the picture that allows you to jump (press Circle) to the vertical wall. Use it to exit on the upper level.
In the new area, you will find the bolt behind some rocks.
Gold bolt 3
This bolt is located in the Surface - Hot Planet section, which is where you begin your exploration of Cordelion. It is on a small circular platform to the east of the main one. Unfortunately, in the hot planet, the platform is surrounded by a force field.
You must return to this place in the dimension of the Surface - cold planet. You can use the opportunity during your first visit to the station, or you can do so after you've finished all your tasks on Cordelion. In the "cold version", the protective barrier won't work on the circular platform.
Gain a lot of speed with the Hoverboots in order to jump from the central platform towards the round one and fly towards it. Once you have landed on this platform, hit the Blizon located on it.
You will be transported to the surface - hot planet dimension, and you will find yourself inside an area surrounded by a force field. This will allow you to take the gold bolt.
