Collectibles list
There are 5 secrets in Nefarious City:
- 3 gold bolts
- 1 Spybot
- 1 piece of armor
Additionally, you can find 1 Craiggerbear.
Note - You can return to Nefarious City later in the campaign (once you unlock the spaceship). You don't have to find 100% of the collectibles during your first visit. You can come back later for the secrets you missed.
Gold bolt 1
You can find the gold bolt in the Factory adjacent to the marketplace - its exploration is an optional mission objective. After entering the first large hall of the factory, you must reach a place where Ratchet can bounce off the walls to reach the top.
Once you reach the upper level of the first hall, you will notice the secret at the opposite end of the hall.
In order to reach the bolt, you must run across the upper transmission belts. This involves avoiding large crates - jump past them or stop along the way in places where you can wait for a crate to pass the protagonist.
Spybot 1
You will find the spybot at the very end of the factory adjacent to the marketplace, which is an optional mission objective. Before you reach the secret, you must deal with several groups of robots in the loading area.
The location of the spybot is shown in the above screenshot.
Armor piece 1 - Robot Disguise Helmet
The armor piece is located in a pocket dimension that is located northeast of the marketplace. In the marketplace, you must turn north after reaching the energy barrier. Explore the surrounding streets. Press L1 to open Pocket Dimension.
You must complete a not-that-complicated obstacle course that involves bouncing off large balloons. Carefully make further jumps, helping yourself with a double jump if necessary. You will meet enemies along the way, but you can easily get rid of them by firing from a long distance
At the very end of the path, there is a hologram. You will unlock a collectible upon approaching it. It is worth noting that each armor item automatically adds a permanent bonus to your stats. You do not have to wear armor to get the bonus. In this particular case, the bonus will be the weakening of attacks made by enemies subordinate to Nefarious.
Craiggerbear
You will find the Craiggerbear at a stall near the Pocket dimension described above. As a reminder, this is the area north of the Nefarious Club.
Gold bolt 2
You can find the gold bolt while pursuing Phantom, shortly after leaving Club Nefarious. As you follow the Phantom, you'll notice a secret behind a metal fence. You can't get to it right away.
Go a little further and turn right at the first available opportunity. At the location in the screenshot, Ratchet can pull himself to the rift above the container.
Turn toward the balcony shown in screenshot 1. When you pull yourself to the second rift, you will find yourself right next to the bolt.
Gold bolt 3
You can acquire the final bolt after unlocking the Phantom Dash, after you've caught up to the Phantom as part of the main storyline and received the gauntlet upgrade from him.
You must return to the place where you first arrived near the marketplace - an elevator from the marketplace will take you there. Turn toward the ledges shown in the picture.
You can jump to the first ledge and then do a wall run (this is one of the actions after meeting the Phantom).
Explore the area that was previously inaccessible. In addition to the raritanium, you will also find a secret.
