The characters have melee weapons from the very beginning of the game - Ratchet uses a wrench, while Rivet uses a hammer. There is no need to buy melee weapons or find them.

You cannot upgrade your melee weapons, but you can change their appearance with the rewards you receive from finding gold bolts. For example, you can start running with a golden melee weapon, but its stats will not change.

Multi-shot

RYNO

TheRYNO is a unique weapon. You can obtain it by finding all 10 spybots, which is a unique category of collectibles in the game. RYNO creates large rifts through which random large objects fall. This is a great weapon for dealing high area damage.

Bouncer

This weapon fires grenades that disintegrate into microgrenades upon contact with enemies or the environment.
