Rage 2 is an action game, consisting mainly of fights with opponents. In the early stages of the game, you will often lose a life if encounter stronger opponents. On this page of the guide you can learn about different causes of death in Rage 2 and its consequences.
How can I die?
In Rage 2, you can die in several ways. Some of them can happen independently of your actions, so watch out for every step. In Rage 2, you can die due to:
- loss of health points in the fights;
- falling from great heights;
- crash into a wall.
If you move on Icarus, you can face a very unpleasant death. If you get to the wrong place, for example, near a waterfall, your vehicle will suddenly start to turn and fall straight into the abyss. Unfortunately, you can't save yourself.
What happens when I die?
If you die, the game will automatically take you to the nearest save point. You can save the game yourself. However, if you don't care about them, the game will create automatic saves after completed objectives (for example, after the end of a mission).
You won't lose your money nor crafting materials.
Defibrillation
In the Canyon Cove Ark, located in the southern part of Broken Tract, you will learn Defibrillation ability.
It allows you to revive yourself during combat. With this ability, you can resurrect yourself instead of starting an activity from the beginning. This ability, however, has a very long cooldown - a few minutes.
