On this page of our trophy guide to RAGE 2 we have prepared a detailed description of the On The Limit bronze trophy. This achievement is unlocked for maintaining the maximum speed for 10 seconds while driving the Raptor. Our guide explains how to unlock this unique motorcycle model, and where to find a long road to develop and maintain the maximum speed.
The Raptor motorcycle isn't available by default, and in order to access it, you need to advance to the 10th reputation level for Loosum Hagar. Reputation points can be earned primarily by visiting locations on the world map and completing small tasks (for example, killing all opponents). Not all locations on the world map are associated with Loosum Hagar. A list of sites that allow you to earn reputation points for the mayor can be viewed from the projects menu. These locations include:
- Pit Stop
- Road Choker
- Repowering Station
- Authority Sentry
To unlock the described achievement, look only at the above types of sites. Completing other location will not bring you closer to unlocking the motorcycle.
In addition, you can get reputation points for Loosum Hagar by attacking convoys. They travel around the world. You can find them faster by using Convoy Locator project.
Once advanced to level 10 you should get confirmation that the Raptor has been unlocked. Now, you may choose it from the garage menu and summon it for $10.
To get the achievement you will need a very long and moderately simple section of the road (small turns can also be driven with maximum speed). Check the road shown in the image. This is the eastern part of the map - Broken Tract and Torn Plains regions.
Start with one of the ends of the specified road. Be careful on corners and turns when you accelerate your bike to top speed. Try to overcome them minimally, tilting the car to the sides. Road holes and bumps can be treacherous cause they may slow down the car. It is necessary to remember these places and use nitro before driving on the bumps. You will get this trophy after few tries. Learn the road and problematic spots.
