Are there any microtransactions in Rage 2? Rage 2 Guide and Walkthrough

Yes, RAGE 2 has microtransactions. However, this are not microtransactions that improve the game (make it easier) or allow you to develop the hero for real currency. In a special store, available in the game menu, you can buy cars and skins for weapons. On this page of our guide to RAGE 2 we have provided detailed information about all items that you can buy for real money through micropayments. We will also let you know if these particular items are available to get for free in the game.
How much premium items cost?
To purchase any items from the store, you must first charge up your wallet. You have a choice of four options of payments:
- 500 RAGE coins: $4.99
- 1,100 RAGE coins: $9.99
- 2500 RAGE coins: $19.99
- 4500 RAGE coins: $34.99
Currently, the value of each item is 450 RAGE coins.
What can I buy?
Currently, in the store you can buy only skins for weapons. They have no influence on weapon's power, only on their appearance. The developers plan to add more skins for weapons and vehicles to allow players early access to this new hardware and lovely equipment.
Can you get premium items in the game for free?
Golden skins for weapons can be purchased in the game from the seller. Regardless of the type of weapon, it's $10,000. This is a lot of money for a thing that only changes the appearance of your weapon.
