Adventure Rank is a progression level that does not connect to a character's level. It can be said that this is the player/world account level of the player. To be able to join a dungeon exploration, you must meet the basic criteria, and the main criterion is the appropriate Adventure Rank (AR). It's worth mentioning that you can win awards for each AR level at The Adventurers' Guild. Each time the AR increases, the level of creatures and rewards increases as well. By having a particular AR level, you will unlock additional content in Genshin Impact.
