General information
Chongyun is a four-star Cryo character who fights with Claymore. Chongyun, in the current meta, is suitable to become very good support, provided that it will be combined with Pyro users. This is mainly due to the Melt reaction, which is very strong, and Chongyun effortlessly imposes Cryo on enemies.

Cryo Support Build
Chongyun easily imposes Cryo status on opponents thanks to his Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst, which make him a splendid support when combined with Pyro characters to create a Melt reaction.
- Artifacts - 2x Blizzard Strayer 2x Noblesse Oblige/4x Noblesse Oblige
- Weapons - Skyward Pride/Sacrificial Greatsword
When it comes to recommended artifacts, you can use a mix of 2x Blizzard Strayer and 2x Noblesse Oblige. With these equipped, you receive 15% additional Cryo DMG and 20% Elemental Burst DMG.
You can also focus on 4x Noblesse Oblige to increase Elemental Burst DMG by 20%. But most importantly, if you have four parts of this artifact, other party members will receive a boost after using the Elemental Burst, which increases ATK DMG by 20% for 12 seconds.
The most suitable weapon for Chongyun will be Skyward Pride. This is a five-star weapon, so it can be quite difficult to obtain it. This claymore, in addition to the extra Energy Recharge, will increase all types of attacks by 8%. When you use Elemental Burst, normal and charged attacks will create a Vacuum Blade that deals 80% physical damage to all enemies it passes through.
A slightly more affordable weapon would be Sacrificial Greatsword. This weapon also grants you Energy Recharge bonus. Furthermore, when you hit an opponent with Elemental Skill, you have a 40% chance of reducing its cooldown. This effect may occur once every 30 seconds.
Talents
Talents are special abilities divided into Combat and Passive categories. In Chongyun's case, you should focus on developing talents in a given order:

Chongyun is a character who is powerful, provided that he is in the right team. If you want to base your main party on it, it is worth drawing him three times to get C2.
