General information
Ayaka is a 5-star hero of Cryo element, fighting with a sword. With right guidance, she is one of the best DPS in the game, due to high base Crit DMG and great Elemental Burst. In addition, her unique sprint allows easy applying of Cryo and helps avoid attacks.
When building her, you should mainly focus on increasing ATK, Cryo DMG, and Crit Rate and Crit DMG.

Cryo Main DPS Build
Ayaka as the Main DPS focuses on freezing effect. Not only it is a very safe way of killing enemies - paired with her recommended artifact set you receive bonuses with this effect applied.
- Artifacts - 4x Blizzard Strayer
- Weapons - Mistsplitter Reforged / The Black Sword
The recommended artifact set for her is 4x Blizzard Strayer. With all 4 Blizzard Strayers equipped, your Cryo DMG is increased by 15%. Additionally, with each enemy hit with Cryo, Crit Rate is increased by 20%. Finally, if the enemy is frozen, you receive additional 20% to Crit Rate.
When it comes to weapons, we recommend 5-star Mistsplitter Reforged sword. Weapon bonus increases Crit DMG. Weapon skill gives additional 12% Elemental Damage for every element. Levels 1/2/3 correspond to 8/16/28% elemental damage. Stacks are applied in the following way: Normal attack will deal elemental damage after you use Elemental Burst or if your Energy is below 100%.
The second choice for a weapon recommended for Ayaka is The Black Sword. This is a 4-star weapon, offering high ATK and Crit Rate. Weapon skill increases Normal and Charged Attack DMG by 20%. Additionally, your HP is regenerated by 60% of your ATK with critical hitting of the enemy. This effect can occur once every 5 seconds. Considering that with Ayaka, you focus on high CRIT Rate, the effect will by applied very often.

Constellations
Ayaka, as a 5-star hero, is already good on C0. The best constelations to stay with are C2 and C4. On C2, Ayaka, after using Elemental Burst, creates two additional whirlwinds that further increase her damage dealt. On C4, however, enemy DEF is reduced by 30% with each use of Elemental Burst, and this effect is beneficial to the whole team, not only Ayaka.
