General information

Below you can find the most important information regarding the trophies/achievements available in Hitman 2:

1. Hitman 2 is an unusual game when it comes to unlocking trophies/achievements. The "old" trophies/achievements from Hitman 1 have to be unlocked again, but the game also adds new trophies/achievements related to the locations added by Hitman 2.
2. Hitman 1 has 69 trophies/achievements. You need to do them again, even if you already have them unlocked. Levels from Hitman 1 aren't available in Hitman 2 by default. You need to install the Legacy Pack - to confirm that you own the first season. After that, you can access the old episodes from Hitman 2's menu. Levels from Hitman 1 have slight changes in Hitman 2.
3. To get all the trophies in Hitman 1, you only need the "standard" version of the Legacy DLC - six main episodes from Hitman 1 plus the bonus summer episode. Game of the Year edition, which includes, i.e. "Patient Zero" campaign, doesn't have any additional trophies/achievements - this hasn't changed in Hitman 2.
4. Base Game trophies are unique - you can unlock them even if you didn't install the first season (the Legacy Pack DLC). Training missions are available from the start both in Hitman 1 and Hitman 2.
5. The new content available in Hitman 2 has 49 new trophies/achievements. They are related to the six new episodes available since the game's premiere, and Himmelstein level which is part of Sniper Assassin mode.
6. Hitman 2 doesn't have a platinum trophy on PS4. As a consolation, all the trophies are worth 3015 points. This number is much higher than the games that have a platinum trophy.

Trophies/achievements division

Just like the first game, Hitman 2 is divided into a few content packs (different locations) that can be installed separately. Every pack has a few trophies/achievements. Below you can see how this division looks like:

1. Base Game - Content known from Hitman 1. You can get a total of 14 trophies/achievements. They are related to the training missions (freeform and final test) as well as creating and playing contracts.
2. Hitman 2 Hawke's Bay - New content found in Hitman 2. Here, you can get a total of 7 trophies/achievements. They are related to the first (introductory) episode of Hitman 2's campaign - Hawke's Bay.
3. Hitman 2 Miami - New content found in Hitman 2. Here, you can get a total of 7 trophies/achievements. They are related to the second episode of Hitman 2's campaign - Miami.
4. Hitman 2 Santa Fortuna - New content found in Hitman 2. Here, you can get a total of 7 trophies/achievements. They are related to the third episode of Hitman 2's campaign - Santa Fortuna.
5. Hitman 2 Mumbai - New content found in Hitman 2. Here, you can get a total of 7 trophies/achievements. They are related to the fourth episode of Hitman 2's campaign - Mumbai.
6. Hitman 2 Whittleton Creek - New content found in Hitman 2. Here, you can get a total of 7 trophies/achievements. They are related to the fifth episode of Hitman 2's campaign - Whittleton Creek.
7. Hitman 2 Isle of Sgail - New content found in Hitman 2. Here, you can get a total of 7 trophies/achievements. They are related to the sixth episode of Hitman 2's campaign - Isle of Sgail.
8. Hitman 2 Himmelstein - New content found in Hitman 2. Here, you can get a total of 7 trophies/achievements. They are related to the Sniper Assassin mode available in Hitman 2 - The Last Yardbird mission available in Himmelstein location.
9. Hitman Legacy: Paris - Content found in Hitman 1. Here, you can get a total of 7 trophies/achievements. They are related to the first episode of Hitman 1's campaign - Paris.
10. Hitman Legacy: Sapienza - Content found in Hitman 1. Here, you can get a total of 7 trophies/achievements. They are related to the second episode of Hitman 1's campaign - Sapienza.
