On this page of the Hitman 2 guide, we've listed all of the unique Rico Delgado assassination methods in the Santa Fortuna mission. We included all challenges requiring the use of specific items or specific disguises. Some of these methods are a part of the mission stories, but you can complete it independently.
By default, Rico Delgado resides in his mansion. You can find him in the office on the floor, in the hall with exhibits on the ground floor, or walking around the main building. Rico travels alone and isn't accompanied by any other characters.
Rico Delgado will leave the mansion when he learns about the completion of the preparation for unveiling his statue on the marketplace.
Another way to change Rico's schedule is to encourage him to visit the pen where his hippo is.
A different option to get Rico to leave his property is to let him know that the work on the submarine in the main cave is finished.
The mansion is a restricted area. You can sneak into it from many different sides, not necessarily in disguise, although the change of clothes (preferably to one of the bodyguards) will make moving around there easier. Note that many people can recognize Agent 47 even when using a disguise.

Still As a Statue
This challenge is related to Heart of Stone mission story. A full description of this assassination variant can be found in the mission stories chapter.
Look at the poster in the village informing about the unveiling of the statue.
Reach the back of the statue and sabotage it with a wrench.
Find two sleeping musicians in the village and wake them up (Unscrew the water valve and
turn the generator on).
Break into the drummer's house. Find a dead person and put on a drummer's disguise.
Reach the marketplace and sit on the drummer's place.
After the performance starts, get back behind the statue.
Wait for Rico Delgado to reach the scene. Push the statue on him during his speech.
Exit, Stage Left
This challenge is related to the one described above, BUT this time Andrea Martinez can die too. Better save the game after the performance starts.
In this assassination variant, wait for Rico Delgado to end his speech. Andrea will approach him, so now you can drop the statue on both of them. This action must be well-timed to be successful.
It Looks Just Like Her
This challenge is related to Deadly Art mission story. A full description of this assassination variant can be found in the mission stories chapter.
Reach the bar in which you can find a famous tattoo artist, P-Power. Pour the poison to his bottle standing on the counter. Emetic rat poison can be found in the back of the bar, or you can take it with you on a mission
Wait for P-Power to go to the toilet. Stun or kill him, hide his body in the container and put on the tattoo artist's disguise
Get rid of forbidden items and weapons from the inventory. Reach the entrance of the Rico Delgado's mansion and let the guards search you.
Go after the guard and then after Catalina Delgado.
After you reach the office, wait for the Rico Delgado to sit on the chair. Start making the tattoo.
Wait for all people to leave the room. Only then can use a tattoo machine to kill Rico Delgado.
Splash Landing
This challenge is related to Submerged mission story. A full description of this assassination variant can be found in the mission stories chapter.
Eavesdrop a woman's conversation in the fishing village and follow her on her way to her home.
After hearing the conversation, use a lockpick or other way to get to the back of the hut. Find and put on the submarine crew member disguise.
Reach the bar and get the basement key from the bartender.
In the basement localize a secret switch to open the cave entrance. Reach the cave with the submarine.
Find a screwdriver and use it to disable the engine limiter of the submarine.
Tell the guard that the submarine is ready for inspection.
Use the control panel and rev up the engine to 3. Wait for the arrival of Rico Delgado.
Wait until Rico Delgado stands directly in front of the submarine. Only then rev up it to 4, thanks to which the mission's objective will die in an accident.
Deadlier Art
This challenge isn't related to any mission story. Start it from the Rico Delgado's mansion in mansion staff member or guard disguise.
Stand under the chandelier and wait for Rico Delgado to appear nearby. Choose a coin from the inventory and place it on the ground (don't throw it!). Rico will notice the coin and head towards her to pick it up.
Quickly reach the control panel on the upper floor. Use it to drop the chandelier on Rico and kill him.
A Bite Out of Crime
This challenge isn't related to any mission story. Reach the hippo's pen located on the north-east from the Rico Delgado mansion. It's best to go there in a guard disguise.
There are two people near the pen - a guard and a hippo whisperer. You must neutralize both of them - stun (use throwing objects) or kill them. Be sure to hide both bodies in the bushes and to pick up the guard's weapon. Put on a hippo whisperer disguise.
Stay for a moment in the pen and examine the area on the left. Find a meaty bone and throw it into the pen. The hippo will come out of hiding.
You can now head towards the mansion. Find Rico Delgado and tell him that the hippopotamus is ready for "visit". Take Rico to the pen. On the way, he can't find any body or any object lying on the ground (e.g. a weapon)!
After you reach the pen, Rico will approach it and thank you for taking care of the hippopotamus. Wait until he is standing with his back to Agent 47 and push him into a pen where he will be eaten alive by a hippo.
Rico will get closer to the pen only if you've thrown a bone there earlier. Otherwise, the hippo won't come out and Rico will get back to his mansion.
Smaller challenges
Piano Man; Straight Shot - you can kill Rico Delgado in his office or when he visits his hippo.
Tasteless, Traceless - you can pour poison to Rico's glass. He will drink it before making the tattoo. Use the emetic rat poison to easily complete the Hold My Hair challenge.
Sniper Assassin - you can shot Rico Delgado when he is in his office.
