The following page of the Horizon Forbidden West guide lists all the Salvage Contractors in Greenswell. We describe where to find Handa and what contracts she offer. We also explain what to do to get a Puncturing Boltblaster.

The Salvage Contractors in Greenswell is located near the Scalding Spear settlement. Handa will have 5 Salvage Contracts for you. If all contracts are not immediately available, complete one task and return to Handa. Once you receive your reward, a new contract should be available.

Ancient Relics

Contract rewards:

1. XP: 2500
2. Metal shards: 50
3. Ancient sculpture: 2

After accepting the contract, go to the first designated location on the map and search all the destroyed vehicles. Collect 3 ancient relics and leave the area.

Then, go to the second designated area, defeat all the machines and scan the area thoroughly. Search all the trunks of old vehicles and collect 4 ancient relics.

After gathering a total of 7 relics, return to Handa and get the rewards.

Property Retrieval

Contract rewards:

1. XP: 3750
2. Metal shards: 50
3. Apex Rollerback Heart

When you get to the designated place, activate Focus and mark the footprints found by the campfire. Follow the footprints to the lake until you reach the corpses of two thieves by the Snapmaw. Search the bodies and take the map.

Go to the ruins marked on the map, scan the area, and climb the metal structure to the top. Jump up and pull yourself to a grapple, then scan the terrain to find a further climbing route.

When you reach the top, use the Shieldwing to get to the roof of the destroyed building. Collect the contents of the safe and return to Handa.

Plowhorns and Plants

Contract rewards:

1. XP: 3750
2. Metal shards: 50
3. Coil: Draw Speed 15%

Head to the Plowhorns habitat and hide in the tall grass. To complete the optional quest, first, you have to collect the 6 flowers that grow in a cloud of green dust after the seed container thrown by the Plowhorn falls to the ground.

When you notice one of its containers fall to the ground, approach the cloud and wait a moment for the flowers to appear. Be careful not to alarm the machines - if you are spotted, immediately return to the tall grass or hide behind the damaged vehicle.

After collecting the flowers, kill 2 Plowhorns. These machines are weak against acid damage. Shoot one acid arrow, then switch to regular arrows and try to aim the weak spots or legs to knock down the Plowhorn quickly. When the machine is knocked out, run up to it and deal a critical hit.

After killing the machines, collect materials from their bodies and return to Handa for rewards.

Speedy Lancehorns

Contract rewards:

1. XP: 5000
2. Skill Points: 2
3. Metal shards: 100
4. Weapon: Puncturing Boltblaster

Before heading to the Lancehorns habitat, find a Charger and get on it. This way it will be easier for you to catch up with the machines. An accurate shot to Lancehorn's legs will knock out the machine, so you can quickly finish it off with a critical hit.

Kill 6 Lancehorns, collect materials from them and return to Handa.

Ravager Canoon

Contract rewards:

1. XP: 5000
2. Metal shards: 50
3. Coil: Component Tear 15%

Head to the machine habitat northwest of the Salvage Contractor and scan the Ravager. Mark the cannon on its back and shoot that part. When the cannon breaks off, kill the machine.

Finally, pick up the cannon, put it in the crate on the cart, and return to Handa.
