Valor Surge - how to unlock it?
You can unlock Valor Surge in Horizon Forbidden West in individual skill trees - two skills for each. It should be noted here that before you can unlock the first Valor Surge skill, you will have to first spend skill points on the smaller nodes that are associated with it.
Valor Surge - how to equip Aloy with it?
Go to the appropriate skill tree, find an unlocked skill or buy one, and then hold down the square to use it. You may only use one skill of this type at a time.
Valor Surge - how to use it?
To activate the Valor Surge on the weapon wheel (L1), press R1. Aloy will execute the command if her Valor has enough charge.
Valor - how to recharge?
Once Aloy has been equipped with this type of skill, an additional purple bar will appear in the lower right corner of the screen, representing the Valor charge level.
Courage in Horizon Forbidden West recharges when you do certain actions, which can be done in several ways:
- Killing the target: 15 points;
- Silent strike: 9 points;
- Shooting off a machine component: 9 points;
- Triggering a status effect: 9 points;
- Hitting an opponent's vulnerable point: 7 points;
- Target knockdown: 7 points;
- Silent elimination: 6 points;
- Killing a target while under the influence of a status effect: 6 points.
You can speed up Valor recharge a lot in Horizon Forbidden West by distributing points to the appropriate nodes in different skill trees, such as Hunter or Survivor.
