Where's the Shrine of Ash?
The Shrine of Ash is located in the northeast part of Iki Island. You can reach it without any problems.
Solving the puzzle
At the base of the statue, you will find a scroll - it contains a clue to the puzzle's solution.
You must follow these steps:
1) Wear Sakai Clan Armor - You get it during the main campaign, i.e. in the basic content of the game. You get the armor as the reward for starting the Ghosts from the Past main mission in Act 2. If you haven't dealt with this quest yet, go back to Tsushima and make more progress.
2) Unsheathe the katana - This is done by swiping right on the touchpad of the PS4 or PS5 controller. You have to do it standing next to the shrine.
If you have done both steps correctly, you will see a cut-scene.
Rewards for completing the puzzle of the Shrine of Ash
The rewards from the Shrine of Ash are related to God of War. You get:
1) Helm of War
2) Spartan mask
3) Ghost of Sparta armor- This is not really a brand new armor, just an alternate look for the Sakai Clan Armor.
