How to catch shooting stars?

First of all, wait until the evening (that is, 7 p.m.). Secondly, you must have nothing in your hands (hide all your tools) and look into the sky (lowest camera level). When you spot a shooting star, press the "A" button. Your character will say good wishes. Then, the star will shine and... that's it.

Where are my star fragments?

You can find fragments of shooting stars the very next day - they will be available on your island. They will be lying on the beaches and their number is determined by the number of wishes you made the previous evening.

When is it possible to catch a shooting star?

You'll be able to spot shooting stars for the first time on the day when Celeste visits your island. Then, this opportunity will occur from time to time. What can I do to avoid checking the sky every day? Shooting stars make distinctive but quiet noises - if you can hear them, then that's the moment when you can catch a few of them. Star fragments are needed to craft many different objects. Some of them are furniture that require zodiac signs star fragments (below you can find a table with dates indicating when you can get specific types of star fragments).

The magic wand, which you will also craft by using the star fragments (specifically, you need three ordinary and one large one), is a useful tool for people who like to dress up. It allows you to create up to eight different outfits, which you can change with one click - just like a quick tool selection.
