Crafting in the Animal Crossing series appeared for the very first time in New Horizons. Consequently, in the game we have to collect various raw materials, which can be used to create new furniture, decorative gadgets, tools or clothes. However, the number of raw materials and resources we can collect in one day is limited. This is connected with the basic concept of the game, which assumes that time flies in it as it does in reality.

Resources such as wood, stones and metals are being replenished once a day. While this is not a problem in the case of wood, because there are plenty of trees on the island and three logs drop out of each, it is different with stones, which we have only a few on the island. So if we have hit and checked all of them, we can either fly to other islands (which costs Nook Miles), or wait until the next day. Therefore, it is worth developing a habit of daily routines to perform daily activities - so that we don't run out of raw materials when we need them most.
