Important information about the trophies in GreedFall

GreedFall has 59 trophies - 1 platinum (only on PS4), 1 gold, 7 silver and 50 bronze.
Some trophies are choice-related and may mutually exclude. If you want to unlock all the achievements/trophies associated with some decisions, then save your game in advance. This will make it easy for you to return to the part with that choice and choose differently.
In order to get platinum, you have to watch all available endings of the game, as each main ending is associated with a different trophy.
If you have plans to get a platinum trophy, , you must complete the game on the highest difficulty level called Extreme Mode. Fortunately, it is available from the very beginning of the game and you don't have to unlock it beforehand.
Try to deal with your party members' quests from the very beginning - you get separate trophies for completing all their personal quests and for having a romantic relationship with four different companions. If you delay improving your relationship with someone for too long, the story may become complicated at important moments (for example, the companion will betray you).
The trophies/achievements related to romances are mutually exclusive. If you want to get them all in one playthrough, you will need to backup your save, and return to it after romancing each person. This is not the only problem, because some romance options are only available to a specific gender. This is due to the sexual preferences of your companions. Even if you have unlocked all romances for a given gender, you have to start a new game with a character of opposite sex. Luckily, it is not necessary to complete the whole game for the second time, but only to reach a place where the missing romances begin.
Try to be in good relations with the factions - the natives, Theleme and The Bridge Alliance. Improving the relationship with each of them gives you a separate trophy.
The game has many trophies received by attacking enemies in different ways, such as melee, using spells, firearms or traps. Try to rely on different types of attacks as much as possible to constantly work on unlocking different achievements.
Several trophies are received by defeating Guardians, powerful bosses. Remember, to unlock the platinum trophy, you will need to deal with all of them. Battles with Guardians have been described in detail in another chapter of our guide called Side bosses.
For platinum, you must unlock all skills - combat, technical and magic. (separate trophy for each category). A big facilitation is that the game allows you to reset the skills of the character, so you can redistribute the accumulated development points.
Getting a platinum trophy can take you up to 50 hours or more. A lot depends on whether you choose the highest difficulty level right away or choose one of the lower settings to learn all basics of the game. In addition, you should remember about manual saves during the key moments of the story - before the scenes where you have to take some important decisions.
Trophies/achievements associated with the romances force you to start the game a second time - you will be able to unlock romances "locked" for a specific gender. Fortunately, you don't have to complete the entire game the second time, only to advance in campaign enough to unlock companion missions and complete them to start a romance.

Trophies

Trophy Platinum

Trophy type: platinum

How to unlock: Obtain all the trophies in GreedFall.

Commentary: This trophy can only be unlocked on PlayStation 4.

All Sails Set!

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: You managed to travel to Teer Fradee.

Commentary: You cannot miss this achievement because it is related to the progress of the main story. The team sets out on a sea journey after completing the game's prologue in the city of Serene. It happens just after defeating the first boss (Unknown Creature). Check out our walkthrough for The Great Departure main quest.

The Prince's Secrets

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: You have discovered the secret of the Congregation and your origins.

Commentary: You can't miss this trophy/achievement because it is related to the progress of the main story. Check out the walkthrough for Old Countries in a New World main quest.

Missed Coup

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: You prevented the Coin Guard from attempting a coup.

Commentary: You can't miss this trophy/achievement because it is related to the progress of the main story. Check out the walkthrough for Treason! quest.

Betrayal in Blood

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: You had to kill the friend who betrayed you

Comment: Unfortunately, this trophy requires the fulfilment of specific requirements. As you play through the main quest, Treason! a variant which assumes that Kurt will betray the main character has to occur. This will be the case if you did not have a sufficiently developed relationship with Kurt (positive reputation points) at the time of this quest. This may be due to the fact that you did not take care of Kurt's companion quests. After Kurt has committed an act of treason, you must kill him and only then will the achievement be awarded.

In the Name of the Enlightened

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: You have decided to save Theleme from the Guard's coup.

Comments: This trophy also applies to Kurt's betrayal that happens during the main quest called Treason!. If you haven't completed all side quests and objectives during this mission, the revolt captain will escape after the mission is completed. You must move on to help Theleme and set it free from the attackers. This way, you will get a trophy.

Trophies In the Name of the Enlightened and A Preserved Alliance are still mutually exclusive.

A Preserved Alliance

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: You have decided to save the Alliance from the Guard's coup.

Comments: This trophy also applies to Kurt's betrayal that happens during the main quest called Treason!. If you haven't completed all side quests and objectives during this mission, the revolt captain will escape after the mission is completed. You must move on to help San Matheus and liberate it to get get this trophy.

Waterproof

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: You have passed Glendan's test.

Commentary: You can't miss this trophy/achievement because it is related to the progress of the main story. Check our detailed walkthrough of the Trials of the Water main quest.

Outside the Stone Prison

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: You have freed Constantin from the claws of Vinbarr.

Commentary: You can't miss this trophy/achievement because it is related to the progress of the main story. Check our detailed walkthrough of the Vinbarr's Sanctuary main quest.

Influence Game

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: You have influenced the election to make your favorite become high-king.

Commentary: You can't miss this trophy/achievement because it is related to the progress of the main story. Check our detailed walkthrough of A New High King main quest.

En on mil frichtimen

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: You entered the shrine and spoke to En on mil frichtimen.

Commentary: You can't miss this trophy/achievement because it is related to the progress of the main story. Check our detailed walkthrough of Face to Face with a God main quest.

Something Is Rotten

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: You have discovered Constantin's actions.

Commentary: You can't miss this trophy/achievement because it is related to the progress of the main story. Check our detailed walkthrough of Footsteps of Madness main quest.

All for One, One for All!

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: You managed to unite all factions against Constantin.

Comment: Unfortunately, obtaining this trophy can cause you a lot of problems. When you take on the main quest of Together for Teer Fradee, you must have a friendly relationship with all factions. This will allow you to meet with their leaders who can join the battle.

Positive reputation points (for specific factions) are most easily earned by performing side quests commissioned by faction members. You can learn more about this mechanics from Reputation page - available in our guide.

A Better World

Trophy type: gold

How to unlock: You have managed to reconcile all the factions and restore balance.

Comment: It's one of the trophies associated with game endings. You must kill Constantin and unite all factions against Constantin beforehand. Duncan will be appointed king. For more information on game endings, see a separate chapter of our guide.

Back to the Roots

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: You have decided to abandon the old continent to its sad fate.

Comment: It's one of the trophies associated with game endings. You have to kill Constanine and make Dedre appointed as a queen. The natives will banish others from the island. For more information on game endings, see a separate chapter of our guide.

A Big Step Towards Peace

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: You have chosen balance, but you miss some of your allies.

Comment: It's one of the trophies associated with game endings. You have to kill Constantin and miss an alliance with one or two factions. Duncan will be appointed king. For more information on game endings, see a separate chapter of our guide.

Island for Sale

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: You have favored the old world at the expense of your roots.

New Gods

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: You have become one of the new deities of the island alongside Constantin.

Comment: It's one of the trophies associated with game endings. You must unite with Constantine. For more information on game endings, see a separate chapter of our guide.

A Passion for Extreme

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Complete the game in Extreme Mode.

Commentary: This is one of the most difficult trophies, and that's because it forces you to finish the main plot of the game at the highest difficulty level - Extreme. This level of difficulty is characterized by a larger number of opponents, who are faster and much stronger. As a result, each fight can be a big challenge. You can find out more about the difficulty levels by checking the What difficulty level to choose? section in our guide.

Do not change the level of difficulty at any point in the game, as the chance of unlocking this achievement will be lost. Also, remember that you have to complete only the main plot. You can skip, for example, all battles with additional bosses of the game.

Serve to Convince

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Complete 20 secondary quests.

Commentary: Side quests are displayed in a separate log tab. You can select any additional tasks. There is more than 20 of them in the game. The list of side quests can be found in a separate section of our guide. Also, we have included a detailed walkthrough for each side quest.

Friendship Above All

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Finish all companion quests.

Commentary: We described companion quests in a separate chapter of our guide. Once a new character will join your team, get to the team camp. An exclamation mark should appear above the head of your companion. This is a sign that this friend wants to talk to you. Listen to his requests and a new quest will appear in the journal. You will start a quest line associated with the character.

Each companion orders a total of three different quests. During the passage of each mission, try to additionally take decisions that will please your friends so as to unlock the romance.

Guardian of Love

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Be in a relationship with Kurt.

Commentary: Kurt's one of the team members. For more information about creating a relationship with this character, see the chapter about romances. Romance with Kurt is only possible if you play as a woman.

You should start with the three tasks from Kurt. In subsequent conversations with Kurt, choose the dialogue options that will lead you to romance. During one of the next meetings, Kurt will propose a date. Meet him in one of the estates of the main character. After you sleep with Kurt, he confesses his love to you the next day. Only now you can really bind with him. The romance with Kurt blocks the remaining 3 romances. If you want to get all 4 achievements related to a different story, save the game and don't bind with Kurt when he confesses love.

Minundhanem

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Be in a relationship with Siora.

Commentary: Siora is one of the team members. For more information about creating a relationship with this character, see the chapter about romances. Romance with Siora is possible regardless of the chosen gender.

You should start with the three tasks from Siora. In subsequent conversations with Siora, choose the dialogue options that will lead you to romance. During one of the next meetings, Siora will propose a date. Meet her in one of the estates of the main character. After you sleep with Siora, she confesses her love to you the next day. Only now you can really bind with her. The romance with Siora blocks the remaining 3 romances. If you want to get all 4 achievements related to a different story, save the game and don't bind with Siora when she confesses love.

Love and Botany

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Be in a relationship with Aphra.

Commentary: Aphra is one of the team members. For more information about creating a relationship with this character, see the chapter about romances. Romance with Aphra is only possible if you play as a man.

You should start with the three tasks from Aphra. In subsequent conversations with Aphra, choose the dialogue options that will lead you to romance. During one of the next meetings, Aphra will propose a date. Meet her in one of the estates of the main character. After you sleep with Aphra, she confesses her love to you the next day. Only now you can really bind with her. The romance with Aphra blocks the remaining 3 romances. If you want to get all 4 achievements related to a different story, save the game and don't bind with Aphra when she confesses her love.

Love and the Sea

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Be in a relationship with Vasco.

Commentary: Vasco is one of the team members. For more information about creating a relationship with this character, see the chapter about romances. Romance with Vasco is possible regardless of the chosen gender.

You should start with the three tasks from Vasco. In subsequent conversations with Kurt, choose the dialogue options that will lead you to romance. During one of the next meetings, Vasco will propose a date. Meet him in one of the estates of the main character. After you sleep with Vasco, he confesses his love to you the next day. Only now you can really bind with him. The romance with Vasco blocks the remaining 3 romances. If you want to get all 4 achievements related to a different story, save the game and don't bind with Vasco when he confesses love.

Arena Excellence

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Succeed in all the challenges of the arena.

Commentary: The Champion of the Arena side quest, which begins in the Coin Guard Tavern, is connected with arena battles. You can find the description of this quest in our walkthrough.

Arena is a place where you can fight against waves of enemies. The challenge is divided into 5 rounds - in each round you have to win three battles with different opponents. You will be healed between encounters, but the level of difficulty increases significantly with every next battle.

The final opponent in the arena is the boss - Ndaig Meneimen - GreedFall: Trophies/Achievements - list - Trophy Guide - GreedFall Guide

The final opponent in the arena is the boss - Ndaig Meneimen. The boss has a lot of armor, a lot of health, and he's really strong. Dodges, parry and lots of healing are necessary to win this battle.

Carants

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Have a good reputation with the natives.

Commentary: Naut is one of the main factions in GreedFall. Complete quests (including side) given to you by members of the faction to increase the reputation with that group. Also, make decisions in quests favored by the Naut and avoid choices that can lead to negative reputation points (e.g. insulting / assaulting / killing someone associated with the Naut faction).

Theleme's Chosen

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Have a good reputation with Theleme.

Commentary: Theleme is one of the main factions in GreedFall. Complete quests (including side) given to you by members of the faction to increase the reputation with that group. Also, make decisions in quests favored by Theleme and avoid choices that can lead to negative reputation points (e.g. insulting / assaulting / killing someone associated with Theleme faction).

Favored with the Bridge Alliance

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Have a good reputation with the Bridge Alliance.

Commentary: Bridge Alliance is one of the main factions in GreedFall. Complete quests (including side) given to you by members of the faction to increase the reputation with that group. Also, make decisions in quests favored by the Bridge Alliance and avoid choices that can lead to negative reputation points (e.g. insulting / assaulting / killing someone associated with the Bridge Alliance faction).

Explorer

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Find and set all camp fires.

Commentary: Campfires are marked with special icons on the world map. When you get to abandoned camp, you have to walk up to the bonfire to ignite it.

The side quest Exploration and Cartography will allow you to keep track of current progress and find out how many bonfires there are in each region of the game world.

Melee Virtuoso

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Do damage 500 times with a melee weapon.

Commentary: For this trophy you must use any hand-to-hand combat technique (with or without melee weapons). If you have chosen a starter class related to a different style of play, simply wait until you can unlock your hand-to-hand combat skills. It is worth noting that the game counts each successful attack separately. You don't have to kill 500 enemies that way.

War Mage

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Do damage 500 times with an offensive spell.

Commentary: For this trophy you must use attacking spells, i.e. magic. If you have chosen a starter class related to a different style of play, simply wait until you can unlock the magic skills and magic rings. It is worth noting that the game counts each successful attack separately. You don't have to kill 500 enemies that way.

Musketeer

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Do damage 300 times with shots.

Commentary: For this trophy, you can use various types of firearm. If you have chosen a starter class related to a different style of play, simply wait until you can unlock the distance fighting skills. It is worth noting that the game counts each successful attack separately. You don't have to kill 300 enemies that way.

Deceitful

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Do damage 200 times with traps.

Commentary: Traps can be various alchemical potions, which you can find in the game world, buy them from merchants or produce them by yourself (investing skill points in Science is required). It is worth noting that the game separately counts each successful attack with the use of traps. You don't have to kill 300 enemies that way.

Poisoning Artist

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Poison enemies 100 times.

Commentary: As with enemy traps, you can poison your enemies by using alchemical potions (the picture above shows an example). In addition, you can use weapons that can poison enemies. As in previous trophies, the game counts each successful poisoning separately. You don't have to kill 100 enemies with poisons.

Another Sip?

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Use 50 potions.

Commentary: These can be any elixirs, e.g. healing potions or those increasing the attack speed. You can find new potions in the game world, buy them from traders or create them yourself.

Shadow Blade

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Use your assassination skills 30 times.

Commentary: This trophy is related with stealth attacks that you can carry out when you sneak to an enemy from behind. You should see some information on the screen about a possible option to use Stealth Attack.
