As in any game with an open world, money is one of the most important elements of the game. You can get gold in different ways and then spend it on the items you need. This way you will be able to constantly support your character with new potions or new weapons. That way, your character'll always be ready to fight.
Quests
In GreedFall there is a similar system as in most games. For completing a quest you will receive experience points and cash as a reward. The amount of these depends on the quest you take. In addition, you also gain reputation points.
Loot
After killing your opponents, you can collect things from their pockets, so you can simply loot them. You can often find small amounts of money in their loot.
In addition, this way you can get potions, armor items or raw materials.
Items from chests
In many places in the game world you can find chests. The ones that you can open shine with golden color. You will find potions, money, raw materials, and weapons in them. The quality and quantity of items depends on the level of complexity of the chest lock.
To open locks in the game you need to invest in Lockpicking talent. This will allow you to explore closed spaces and to obtain more raw materials.
First level
You can open simple locks.
Second level
Allows you to open complex locks. In addition, you can notice enemy traps, disarm and get materials from them.
Third level
Grants invulnerability to any traps left by opponents.
Selling goods and items
Remember that if you get resources or items you don't need, you can sell them at any time. With the currency you earn, you can buy new things.
What can I buy?
You can buy new weapons, armor, raw materials and potions from merchants. With them you can develop your character's skills and improve his or her combat skills.
