The companions are an important element of gameplay in Greedfall. They can save your life more than once, they constantly support your actions, and are always ready to fight.
Companion's condition
However, in order for them to be loyal, you have to take care of them. During the battle, you can constantly check the condition of your comrades.
Active pause
During the active pause, you can see the status of your hero and the companions. These icons are on the left-hand side of the screen.
Combat
During battles, the status of your hero, companions and enemies is always displayed.
Taking care of the companions
You can see the status of your friends at any time. You will see what they can do, how much HP they have, and you can also look up their nventory. If you find a good item, you can equip it here.
Can companions die permanently?
Your companions may die, but only if it's a part of the story. In ordinary encounters, you can't lose your companion.
You can kill him or her by yourself if he or she betrays you and you are not able to forigive him or her.
