In GreedFall, you'll have many long adventures that can last literally hours of gameplay. The story starts in Serene, a big city where you have to complete your first main quests and a few side missions. Additionally, in the city, you will find a lot of raw materials, crates and interesting characters.
What can I do in Serene?
In Serene, you will complete your first main quest - if you complete it, you will automatically leave the city. You have to keep a close eye on your mission progress and don't complete it if you want to visit the surrounding areas.
What I should do before leaving Serene?
Complete all side missions before leaving Serene:
Besides, try to get to every possible area and loot all chests you may find. For this you will need the ability of lockpicking which is available among your hero's talents.
You can also take your companion armor item (Kurt's). It has the +1 lockpicking skill bonus. This will allow you to develop your remaining talents.
Can I return to Serene?
No. Even after completing the storyline, you cannot return to this location. Complete all quests, talk with everyone and check all corners.
It's the only place you can't return to.
