How to unlock: Speak with Sloane [Kadara: Port].

Here you can find the guide for High Noon quest. It is one of the Heleus Assignments (side quests) in Mass Effect: Andromeda game. This quest can be unlocked during your stay on Kadara. During this quest you must prevent the conflict between The Outcasts and the Collective. The quest is given by Sloane but there are a few ways in which you can behave. You can help her until the end or betray her and side with Reyes.

Unlocking the quest

This quest should be available after completing enough objectives during Settling Kadara side quest, the one where you have to establish the Andromeda Initiative outpost on Kadara. When you return to Kadara Port you can go to Sloane's office and speak with her. She needs your help in finishing the conflict with the Collective.

Meet with Sloane at the Charlatan's specified location

Sloane will wait near the cave's entrance

The meeting place is in the south part of Kadara's wilderness. The place is near the cave's entrance and you can get there by following the main roads. BEFORE you speak with Sloane you can save the game because soon you have to make a very important decision. When the meeting starts you will speak with Reyes. It turns out that he is the Charlatan.

Variant 1 - Sloane's death

The Narrative Action connected with the sniper aiming at Sloane

In this variant you can't REACT after you receive the warning that a sniper prepares to make a shot. The lack of your reaction leads to Sloane's death. Speak with Reyes and if you are in a relationship you can tell him that you want him (an additional scene will play).

After that you can go back to Slums and meet with Reyes. This completes the mission and you can also finish Settling Kadara side quest.

Warning - If you are flirting with Reyes then during the meeting in the bar in Slums you can dance with him.

Variant 2 - Save Sloane

The Narrative Action during which you can shoot Reyes

In this variant you must save Sloane which means that you must use the Narrative Action when it becomes available. Reyes will try to escape. You must follow him. During the chase you can use another Narrative Action - shoot Reyes. Sadly, even if you hit him Reyes will still get to the transporter and run away.

After that you can go back to Kadara Port and meet with Sloane. This completes the mission and you can also finish Settling Kadara side quest.
