How to Unlock: Talk with Saneris and Drexel [Kadara].

This section contains a walkthrough for Counting Bodies, one of the Heleus Assignments (side quests) found in Mass Effect: Andromeda. The quest sees us search for murdered on Kadara's wastelands.

Unlocking the task

Saneris and Drexel can be found on the balcony overlooking one of the sulfur pools

Leave the Kadara Slums through the main exit and proceed north to find a pumping station next to a small sulfur basin. Enter the installation and talk to Saneris and Drexel. Saneris will tell you of an interesting practice of disposing bodies by dumping them into sulfur pools. Your job will be to scan the local pools in search of victims.

You'll be left with a number of locations around Kadara (three are nearby, with last two a bit farther). Survey each site and follow the heat signatures to find the body. Avoid stepping into the water, as you may get injured yourself (this may cost you your shield, or even all of your health points).

Bring the data to Saneris and Drexel

Make the call

Once you've scanned all five bodies, return to the quest givers and decide upon who should receive the data.

• Saneris wants to use the data to track the murders. You'll receive Andromeda Viability Points.
• Drexel, on the other hand, wants to strip the bodies of valuables. Side with Drexel to receive a melee weapon.

The quest will end regardless of the chosen outcome.
