God of War: Muspelheim & Niflheim - all collectibles, list God of War Guide and Walkthrough

On this page of the God of War game guide you will find a list of all the secrets in the Muspelheim and Niflheim. The following description explains what types of items you can collect and where they are hidden in these two optional locations. We have also included the Valkyrie encounters.
Information on how to reach Muspelheim and Niflheim, and what sort of attractions these realms offer were desribed in the Side quests and challenges section of our guide.
List of secrets - Muspelheim
In Muspelheim, you can find the following:
- 6x Mystical gates
- 1x Valkyries
As far as Mystical Gates go, you can always find them by the swords with challenges. You find them all, you have to complete 10 challenges (each of the swords offers 2 - normal and difficult; you have to complete them to move on).
Valkyrie is at the end of this realm. Just like in the case of Mystical gates, you have to complete challenges. A detailed description of this realm has been provided in a different part of this guide.
List of secrets - Niflheim
Niflheim is a sprawling location and you can find here:
- 3x favors for Sindri
- 1x Valkyries
- 1x store
- 3x Realm Tear Encounters
To discover all, as a matter of fact, you have to complete this realm. Favors that you are tasked with by Sindri are, e.g. about closing rifts and this requires lots of resources that can only be obtained in Niflheim. Valkyrie is at the very end of the labyrinth and to reach her, you require a strong suit of armor that absorbs health loss in this realm.
