God of War: Can I still play after storyline? God of War Guide and Walkthrough

This chapter of the guide answers the question - can you continue playing God of War after you finish the main storyline? This is an important question in terms of free exploration of the world and the desire to complete the game in 100%.

God of War allows you to keep playing after you finish the main storyline. What is more, you unlock a few additional challenges.

1. Niflheim is unlocked at the end of the campaign. This is an optional realm is covered in mist - there, you can craft the best equipment and face a randomly generated labyrinth full of enemies.
2. Some locations become unavailable after you complete the main storyline - one of them is Jotunheim which can only be visited for a brief moment. Don't worry - you can still reach every collectible and secret in the game.
3. The goal of the, so called, end game is to defeat 8 Valkyries. After that you can face their Queen. These fights are more challenging than any other battle in the game. They are the reason why you have to gear up in Niflheim and Muspelheim.
4. You can also complete all favours for the dwarves and, e.g. free the three dragons.
