Yuffie and Sonon, with the help of Avalanche, manage to get IDs needed for accessing the area guarded by Shinra corporation. On the way back, plans change, as heroes receive a message from Zhijie who asks them to go straight to Sector 7 Pillar.
Catch Up to Zhijie
While on the way to the meeting spot, you'll meet Zhijie who got accosted by two Shinra soldiers. The hero manages to distract the guards and starts to escape. Nayo will go back to the base to let the rest of the group know, while you receive a task to try to catch up to Zhijie.
After a while, the heroes manage to reach Zhijie. You'll be witness to a scene where man once again distracts the guards and escapes to the factory. Descend down using the pipe and continue the pursuit.
Tracking Zhijie
After entering the factory area continue forward until you reach initial enemies. Cripshay shouldn't pose any threat, but practice attack combinations with Sonon.
Cripshays are vulnerable to Ice, so use Blizzard/Blizzaga spells on them.
Throw a shuriken at the switch marked in the screenshot above to stop the conveyor belt, allowing you to get to the next part of the area.
After arriving at the upper floor, you'll need to face two soldiers who are in pursuit of Zhijie. They shouldn't pose any threat.
Security Officer and Elite Security Officer, as most humans in Final Fantasy VII Remake, are vulnerable to Fire (Fire/Fira, Fire Ninjutsu)
Main Pillar Maintenance
After the fight, look for the moving conveyor belt, wait for a right moment and throw a shuriken at a switch to stop the belt and get to the other side of the area.
When Zhijie activates the platform to get rid of the soldiers who are pursuing him, the heroes will land on the bottom floor of the factory and will be facing Horned Cripshay. After the battle, climb to the upper level and continue forward along the way.
Horned Cripshay is vulnerable to Ice, so Blizzard/Blizzara spells deal a lot of damage to it and bringing it to Stagger status much faster.
Defeat two additional guards and throw a shuriken at a switch to stop another conveyor belt. Continue further into the area.
After reaching the upper level throw a shuriken at the switch marked in the screenshot above.
Approach the bent guard rail and activate the second switch, and quickly descend to the lower level using the yellow railing.
You'll encounter a few lesser enemies (Toxicrat) as well as face a more powerful opponent (Wrath Hound)
Wrath Hound, as most mutated beings in Final Fantasy VII Remake is vulnerable to Ice, so Blizzard/Blizzara spells deal a lot damage to it. Nevertheless, Wrath Hound is a very mobile opponent, so choose the moment when you want to use the magic wisely, so as to avoid missing with the spell.
After the battle, activate another switch, and continue following yellow railing to the next platform and use the stairs to ascend to an upper floor.
Approach the area shown in the screenshot above and throw a shuriken at the switch with number 2. When the yellow railing are moved, continue to the next platform.
This time, you need to face two Wayward Wolves. The enemies are fast, but vulnerable, while strong melee attacks can quickly cause Stagger.
Wayward Wolves are vulnerable to Ice, so use Blizzard/Blizzara spells to deal a lot of damage and get them to Stagger status quicker
After the fight, throw a shuriken at a switch marked in the screenshot above, and then follow the yellow railing to the platform nearby.
Activate the same switch once again to get to the next platform, and throw the shuriken at the switch once again. Continue following the yellow railing to the next platform, and descend using the pipe to the lower level of the factory - Waste Disposal Plant.
You'll soon encounter Levrikon. An animal similar to an ostrich is very fast and durable, and has powerful attacks at his sleeve. During combat, use Fire Ninjutsu and combination attacks.
Levrikon is vulnerable to Ice and Fire, so Fire/Fira and Blizzard/Blizzara spells are immensely useful during the battle with this enemy. Not only they deal a lot of damage, but quickly fill Stagger bar.
After the battle, use the ladder to climb to the upper floor and activate the conveyor belt. During the ride, try to destroy as many chests as possible to have an increased chance of getting extra items.
Save Zhijie
After reaching a safe point, replenish your supplies at the Vending Machine, and regenerate HP and MP, as a boss battle is just around the corner.
As you attempt to save Zhijie from Shinra soldiers, the first boss of Intermission expansion appears on the arena - a gigantic robot Gigantipede.
