Support Materia is one of the five types of Materia you can find in FF7 Remake. Blue Materia can be combined with other Materia to increase its effect - can be used in weapons and armors with different results.

How to get it?

Elemental Materia

You can combine it with other Materia when the slots in the weapon are connected. With this, your character will e.g. deal fire damage with their attacks. When placed in the armor, it increases resistance.

Level 1 (Weapon) - Adds 8% elemental damage from the element it connects to.

Level 2 (Weapon) - Adds 15% elemental damage from the element it connects to.

Level 3 (Weapon) - Adds 23% elemental damage from the element it connects to.

Level 1 (Armor) - Halves damage from the element it connects to.

Level 2 (Armor) - Negates damage from the element it connects to.

Level 3 (Armor) - Absorbs damage from the element it connects to.

- Discovery - Collapsed Passageway can be found in Chapter 6. You have to beat two Queen Grashtrikes to get this Materia.

Magnify Materia

It allows you to increase the attack area of the elemental spells with which this Materia is connected to.

Level 1 - Increases the attack area of the connected Materia. (The spell's effect is reduced by 60%).

Level 2 - Increases the attack area of the connected Materia. (The spell's effect is reduced by 45%).

Level 3 - Increases the attack area of the connected Materia. (The spell's effect is reduced by 25%).

- Found near the with the third robot hand puzzle during Chapter 9 - Beyond the Dead End.

Warding Materia

It gives debuff resistance to negative status inflicted by the connected Materia. It works with Poison, Time, Bind and Subversions Materia.

Level 1 - Reduces debuff time by 25%.

Level 2 - Reduces debuff time by 50%.

Level 3 - Reduces debuff time by 100%.

- Found in the sewers during Chapter 10.

- In the underground lab, Chapter 13.

Synergy Materia

It allows allies to attack the enemy with the connected element immediately after the controlled character has performed the attack.

Level 1 - Use Synergy

- Can be purchased from Chadley after completing Battle Intel Report 9.

HP Absorption Materia

Restores HP after performing a physical or magical attack based on the connected Materia.

Level 1 - Absorb 20% of Damage dealt.

Level 2 - Absorb 30% of Damage dealt.

Level 3 - Absorb 40% of Damage dealt.

- Can be purchased from Chadley after completing Battle Intel Report 19.

MP Absorption Materia

Restores MP after performing a physical or magical attack based on the connected Materia.

- Can be purchased from Chadley after completing Battle Intel Report 18.

AP UP Materia

Increases the amount of AP you receive for the connected Materia.

- After making approx. 5,000 steps with Pedometer equipped - the Materia will turn into AP UP Materia. Great to level up other Materia.

- Pedometer Materia is in Chapter 14, near Aerith's house.
