How to unlock: In the Institute (M5,6) you must meet with doctor Alana Secord. This mission is one of the randomly unlocked ones.

Quest objectives:

• Deliver the transmitter to the captured synth
• Go back to Alana Secord

Kill the raiders and give the transmitter to the freed synth

This quest is one of many randomly unlocked quests related to Institute faction. The earliest time when it can be unlocked is after you complete the Institutionalized quest and accept Father's proposition to join that faction. Meet with doctor Alana Secord in the Institute - depending on the time of day you will find her in the Synth Retention section, in Institute's main chamber or in her personal quarter.

Agree on helping Alana in freeing a kidnapped synth. The synth is being held by raiders in a random location in the game world. Once you reach the destination, you must get rid of the enemies and then give a transmitter to the synth. Thanks to that the synth will be teleported to the Institute. Go back to Alana once you complete your mission and report to her. If during the conversation you will use Charisma and ask for reward, she will give you 5 plasma grenades.

Important - You can repeat this quest many times. You must only wait some time before you meet with Alana again. At the next conversation she will inform you about a new kidnapped synth.

Quest rewards: Experience points, plasma grenades x5.
