Rathtar Hunting | Walkthrough LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Guide

"Rathar Hunting" is one of the largest side missions in LEGO Star Wars: the Force Awakens. As the name suggest, the main goal here is to hunt the large animals that you have come into contact with during the main story line. In this mission, you are not going to fight any boss character. this stage comprises exploration of caves and a major blaster battle.
How to unlock
This mission becomes available after you have completed the fourth chapter of the main story line (Eravana), BUT to be able to start it, you first have to collect, at least, 30 gold LEGO bricks. You can obtain gold bricks as you complete main missions and discover their secrets. Also, you can search for them in the course of exploration of open maps.
After you have collected, at least, 30 of them, access the map of the galaxy and select planet Twon Ketee, connected with this side mission.
Make it though the rathtar cave
Jump into the partially-flooded caves and start the linear exploration. Do not worry that you will be gradually losing hunters, because your characters will come to no danger. In a new part of the caves, jump down onto the ledge below ad destroy the nearby objects to discover interactive bricks. Use them to build a bone bridge, over which to get to the other side.
Make it over onto the ledge above and use grappling hook as Han Solo, thanks to which you will grapple onto the flower above. After you bring it down, push off to reach another location.
In the new area, deal with a small group of bandits. After the fight, switch to Han Solo, approach the waterfall and use Quadnoculars. Scan the waterfall. As a result of that, the first rathtar will appear that will catch Han Solo. You have to free yourself and, to do this, press buttons appearing on the screen.
After you drive it away, the beast drops Multi-build bricks. First, use them on the right, to build a climbing wall. Varond Jelik can use the wall. After you get on the ledge above, destroy the ladder and use the Multi build bricks where there is the waterfall. As a result, you will unfold a large umbrella.
Switch back to Varond Jelik walk by the waterfall and go left. Reach a large boulder and push it down. Build an elevator and reach the higher level as Chewbacca. Around, there is a lever that you can pull.
Move on, walk under the waterfall and reach the Multi build bricks on the right. Use them in the spot shown in the above screenshot, i.e. directly opposite the spot where you have found them. After large bug-like creatures appear, use to your advantage the fact that you can grab on to them and reach the ledge above.
After you reach the ledge approach, as Han Solo, the new blue signs and use Quadnoculars. As a result of scanning the flowers, another rathtar will appear and, just like before, you have to tap buttons displayed on the screen to get free.
Use the interactive bricks to build a handle and grab on to it, as Chewbacca. You can now use the newly-opened passage.
Battles in the loading area
After you regain control of your characters, a blaster battle will start. In its first phase, you gave to eliminate 10 regular opponents and an opponent with heavy blaster. Shoot at them from behind any covers you want and remember not to stay for too long out in the open, especially if the character is currently being locked on by the heavy opponent.
In the second phase, you will have to destroy a stationary turret. Switch to Chewbacca, lean out from behind the cover and throw a thermal detonator towards the silver locks on the cage with rathtar, shown in the above screenshot.
Soon, another fight will start and you will not have to take cover anymore. First, eliminate the regular opponents and leave the big droid for the last. You can use bombs or attack the droid in melee, but do not let it land its own blows.
Your final task in this mission is again to secure the large cage, with the rathtar inside. To do that, interact with the interactive bricks shown in the above screenshot.
