Chapter 10 - The Finale | Walkthrough LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Guide

This chapter starts with another air fight. Still, its main, and most complex part is the fight with the final boss (Kylo Ren). To defeat him, Rey's and Finn's cooperation will be required.

Unlock chapter 10 - Starkiller base

The path to the starting point of chapter 10 - you have to dismount the speeder

Vicinities of the Starkiller base are different than the rest of the areas, which is why you will be under constant attack from enemy forces. Therefore, it is a good idea to head towards the starting point of the last chapter immediately. For this, follow the transparent studs.

Along your path, you can use the speeder, thanks to which you will get there much faster. Stop by the fallen tree, dismount the vehicle and walk on foot towards the spot where you start the last chapter of the campaign mode.

Air attack on the oscillator

Engage TIE Fighters

You start this chapter with an air battle in the cockpit of Poe Dameron's X-Wing. The objective here is to destroy the last oscillator. In the first phase of this battle, you will have to destroy fifteen enemy TIE Fighters. You can engage them in any order you want. In the course of the battle, perform barrel rolls and sideways tilts to dodge their fire.

In the second phase, you have to follow the predefined route. In the course of that, you can destroy more enemy fighters. Additionally, avoid the red reticles that appear on the screen.

In the final phase of the battle, you have to blow up the oscillator. To do that, you have to destroy the exposed red pipes, during the linear flight. Destroying the pipes will bring up the counter and you have to have it reach 100%.

The battle with Kylo Ren (final boss)

The first phase of the fight

Kylo Ren is the final boss of the campaign mode and the fight comprises several parts. You start the first one as Finn. Do not attack Kylo Ren in the traditional way because he parries all lightsaber blows and this will do nothing. Instead, wait for the moments at which he performs a jumping attack. At this point, the action will slow down and the button to press appears on the screen (the above screenshot).

After you block Kylo Ren's attack, you will start to struggle with him. In this part, start tapping the key shown in the screenshot, as a result of which you deal some damage to him.

You have to keep doing that up until the moment, at which Kylo Ren uses dark side of the Force against Finn and paralyzes him temporarily.

The second phase of the battle

Build a cannon that will start firing at Kylo Ren

Switch to Rey, who has not participated in the battle. Deal with stormtroopers and head towards the spot with interactive bricks. Use them to build a cannon that will lay fire on Kylo Ren and have him stop using the Force.

You can now switch back to Finn and just like you did earlier, wait for opportunities to block his jumping attacks.

The third phase of the battle

As Rey, summon the lightsaber

The third phase of the battle starts when Kylo Ren will fall victim to the Dark Side again. Switch to Rey and start tapping the key displayed on the screen to summon Rey's lightsaber, which has been used by Finn, so far.

Attack the boss while he is stunned

After the cutscene, you will fight Kylo Ren again, this time in a small gorge. Due to the restricted area, use your lightsaber always when Kylo Ren approaches you. Then, get away from him.

Just like you did while playing as Finn, you have to wait for Kylo Ren to launch a jump attack. Block them by pressing appropriate keys. A successful block will temporarily stun the boss and will allow you to deal damage. After one of his failed attacks, Kylo Ren will summon stormtroopers, which is a good opportunity to regain the hearts that you have lost. Continue fighting up until the moment, at which Kylo Ren paralyzes Rey with the Force.

The fourth phase of the battle

Take down one of the trees so that it lands on Kylo Ren

Switch to Finn and look at the nearby trees. Use grappling hook on the grappling point on the tree on the right and rip it out, which will tip over the tree and attract the attention of Kylo Ren.

Rey has to push off the walls

After Finn and Rey get to the same spot, go towards the obstacle on the right and push it over.

After the cutscene, climb as one of the characters (they will follow different paths) A bit ahead, Rey will have to push off vertical walls to get higher. Once you get there, as Rey, go towards Kylo Ren standing in the distance.

The fifth phase of the battle

Tap the keys displayed on the screen

The final part of the battle with Kylo Ren is very easy. You have to tap buttons that are displayed on the screen, thanks to which Rey will win the battle. Also, this is the end of this chapter.

Note - this is not yet the end of the storyline. You will still have to complete a short epilogue.
