Chapter 7 - The Resistance | Minikits and red bricks LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Guide

This page presents information on where to find and how to obtain ten minikits and a red LEGO brick in mission "The Resistance", i.e. the seventh chapter of the main story. Try to find these collectibles in the free game mode. Additionally, read information provided below, where you find information such as how to prepare yourself properly for the hunt.

Important information

It is best to try to find collectibles in this chapter in the free game mode, only after you have unlocked a greater number of playable characters. You can obtain only some of the below collectibles while playing this mission for the first time (in the story mode).

A very important piece of information is that some of the collectibles cannot be obtained only with characters that you have obtained in the story mode. One of such collectibles is minikit 4. It is frozen and to unfreeze it, you have to use a special type of stormtrooper- Flametrooper. You can obtain this character by accessing the characters list and buying them (the above screenshot). Another collectible that is more difficult to obtain is the red LEGO brick. To reach it, you will have to destroy the cracked wall, for which you should use a character that can smash cracked walls. Open the window of the available characters and buy a character with this ability, e.g. Grummgar or a Wampa.

Some of the minikits will require you to perform several actions in several different locations of the resistance HQ. Try to follow the order of finding collectibles presented in this walkthrough, thanks to which you won't miss anything.

Apart from obtaining the collectibles, you can try to obtain the title of the True Jedi (True Jedi). It is awarded in this mission "The Resistance" after you collect, at least 35000 studs.

Minikit 1/10

Special requirements: a character that uses the dark side of the Force (e.g. Darth Vader)

Location and how to unlock: This minikit is in the storeroom shown in the above screenshot, to the left of the starting point, where you find workers that Leia can issue commands to (this is required to progress to the next part of the chapter). After you have gained access to the storeroom, switch to character that uses the dark side of the Force (e.g. Darth Vader) and use the Force on the red crates here. Thanks to this, you will obtain this minikit.

Minikit 2/10 - droid 1

Special requirements: none

Location and how to unlock: You can obtain this minikit either in the story mode or in the free game mode. To obtain it, you have to find interactive bricks and use them to build three droids. The bricks have been placed in different locations of the base. To find the first set, go left of the seventh chapter's starting point. There, you will find an interactive grappling point shown in the above screenshot. Ripping it off results in the appearing of bricks. Use them to build the first droid

Minikit 3/10

Special requirements: none

Location and how to unlock: You can find this minikit in the lower part of the area in which you started exploration of the base. In the spot shown in the above screenshot, you can use a character equipped with lightsaber and cut one of the objects. After that, finish the construction of the minikit.

Minikit 4/10

Special requirements: a character equipped with flame thrower (e.g. Flametrooper)

Location and how to unlock: This minikit is in the right locked room, in the first part of the base. You gain access by performing the actions provided in this walkthrough. After you do this, switch to a character equipped with flame thrower, e.g. Flametrooper. The minikit is on the right and you first have to thaw the ice.

Minikit 2/10 - droids 2 and 3

You can find the remaining two droids after you open the first large door, i.e. along your path to the control room. While following the main corridor, keep an eye out for a terminal on the left, shown in the above screenshot. Interact with it as one of the characters and build the second droid.

Go ahead a bit and smash objects to the left of the new large door (the one with four pressure plates). Thanks to this, you will find interactive bricks that you will use to build the third droid.

Minikit 5/10

Special requirements: none

Location and how to unlock: You can obtain this minikit either in the story mode or in the free game mode. You get the opportunity to do that after you open the door to the control room. Examine the upper-right corner of the room, where there is a socket that e.g. BB-8 can use. After the device is charged, the minikit appears.

Minikit 6/10

Special requirements: none

Location and how to unlock: You can find this minikit at the top level in the left part of the location with the Millennium Falcon. You can get there as any of the characters that can bounce off walls. After you do this, go right as far as you can, thanks to which you find the collectible up in the air (the above screenshot). To obtain it, you have to select a character with staff (e.g. Rey), jab it into the wall and jump to it.

Minikit 7/10 - space ship 1

Special requirements: none

Location and how to unlock: Obtaining this collectible will require you to build three miniature spaceships. You will be finding bricks to build them in various parts of the second main area of the resistance's HQ, i.e. the one with Millennium Falcon. To build the first ship, you have to perform all of the steps in the left part of the location, which will grant you access to the machine with fuel supplies. The room has been shown in the above screenshot. Interact with building bricks to build the space ship.

Minikit 8/10

Special requirements: none

Location and how to unlock: You can find this minikit at the bottom level in the right part of the location with the Millennium Falcon. Find the terminal on the lower level and use it as, e.g. C-3PO, to open the door into the storage with workers that Leia can command. Ignore the workers and smash the central part of the storage area to find the minikit.

Minikit 7/10 - space ship 2

You can build the second miniature ship at the lower level of the right side of the location with the Millennium Falcon. Find the terminal at the lower level and use it as, e.g. C-3PO to open the door to the small storeroom with workers that Leia can command. Ignore the workers and smash objects on the right (the above screenshot). After bricks appear, use them to build the space ship.

Minikit 9/10

Special requirements: a character that uses the dark side of the Force (e.g. Darth Vader)

Location and how to unlock: You can find this minikit at the lower level in the right part of the location with Millennium Falcon. Go right as far as you can and look at the painting hidden behind small objects at the lower level. You have to approach it and use the dark side of the Force to complete this work. You will be rewarded with the minikit.

Red LEGO brick

Reward for obtaining the brick: Super Slap

Special requirements: a character that can ram through cracked walls (e.g. Grummgar)

Location and how to unlock: You can obtain this red LEGO brick at the upper level in the right part of the location with the Millennium Falcon. After you take the lift, find the cracked wall shown in the above screenshot and cut through it as Grummgar or any other character that can do the same. After you demolish the wall, you will find a small hatch, which can be used by e.g. BB-8. Along the hatch, you will get to a small balcony with the red brick.

Minikit 10/10

Special requirements: none

Location and how to unlock: You can find this minikit at the upper level in the right side of the location with the Millennium Falcon. After you take the lift, go right as far as you can and smash objects in the surroundings to reveal Multi-build bricks. Use them to build a socket on the right, shown in the above screenshot. After you do this, connect to the socket as e.g. BB-8.

Minikit 7/10 - space ship 3

To get to the bricks to build the ship with, you have to perform all of the actions in the right side of the base, which will result in unlocking a vehicle with supply of cookies. After you build the vehicle, take interest the remaining bricks in this room (the above screenshot). Use them to build a space ship.
