This Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom guide describes how to find all 4 Shrines on Great Sky Island. Step by step, we explain how to get to each Shrine and describe how to build a raft and a flying platform.

First Shrine

Ukouh Shrine is the first Shrine you will explore in the game. Rauru will show you its location. In the Shrine, you will learn the Ultrahand skill.

The path to Ukouh Shrine should not be a problem. You just have to cross a small river and climb the rock to the top. You can regain stamina by standing on the stairs.

Second Shrine

Gutanbac Shrine is on the eastern side of Great Sky Island, in the frozen land. In the Shrine, you will learn the Ascend skill.

The path to Gutanbac Shrine may vary depending on where you start your journey.

How to reach Gutanbac Shrine from Ukouh Shrine?

If you start your journey to the shrine in the frozen land after completing Ukouh Shrine, the path will be quite simple.

Go towards the lake and talk to the robot standing by the rafts. He will give you an Energy Cell - a battery that powers every Zonai device.

The robot will let you use one of the rafts on the lake. Jump on the raft and hit the fan with your weapon to activate the device. When you swim to the other side of the lake, turn off the fan and jump to the shore.

When you are in the frozen land, turn left, climb the stairs and start climbing up the rock. Follow the path under the waterfall to get to the other side of the mountain.

Cross the newly created bridge and turn right. Go up the stairs and reach another waterfall.

Follow the path around the river and go under the waterfall. Next to it you will find a piece of rock not covered with ice, you can climb up here and find the entrance to the Shrine.

How to reach Gutanbac Shrine from In isa Shrine?

The journey to Gutanbac Shrine from In isa Shrine is a bit longer. You have to go through numerous caves, encountering many enemies along the way.

After leaving the temple, go down the stairs and keep going right until you reach the Podside Cave.

In the cave, keep going straight and turn left towards the exit.

When you leave the cave, you will have to build a raft and swim to the other side of the lake. Connect the 3 tree trunks and the fan lying on the ground. Place the raft on the water and hit the fan with your weapon to activate the device.

Get off the raft, climb the stairs and find the entrance to the Mining Cave. There will be complete darkness in the cave. Find flowers that give Brightbloom Seeds. Take out your bow, attach Brightbloom Seed to the arrow, and shoot it into the ground. When the arrow hits the ground, a glow-in-the-dark flower will grow out of it.

At the end of the cave, talk to the robot standing at the exit. You will receive one Fan from him.

Use Ultrahand to place one of the carts on the tracks. Open the backpack, take the fan out of it and attach it to the cart. Enter the cart and hit the Fan to get out of the cave.

Go straight until you reach a destroyed Arch. Climb up its left side.

Go straight and go through the Bottomless Cave. The path will lead upwards.

Climb up the roots of the tree. You will see Gutanbec Shrine in the distance.

Third Shrine

In isa Shrine is on the western side of Great Sky Island, at the foot of a mountain accessed by a deep, large lake. In the Shrine, you will learn the Fuse skill.

Depending on which side of the island you are heading to the Shrine from, the path may look different.

How to reach In isa Shrine from Ukouh Shrine?

If you are going to In isa Shrine from Ukouh Shrine, the path will be very easy. All you have to do is reach a large lake and build a raft.

The lake is too big for Link to swim. Pick up the axe and chop down one tree. Combine the 3 trees together and attach the sailboat mast to it.

Put the raft on the shore and quickly jump on it, because of the strong wind the raft will immediately start to sail towards the other shore. When you are on the other side of the lake, climb up and find the entrance to the Shrine.

How to reach In isa Shrine from Gutanbac Shrine?

If you want to get to In isa Shrine after completing Gutanbac Shrine, you need to build a flying platform and get to the lower ground.

After leaving Gutanbac Shrine, go to the indicated place on the map above.

Use the Device Dispenser to get new Zonai devices. Attach 2 Fans to the Wings. Place the platform at the end of the runway and activate the device by hitting it with your weapon. Stand on top of the platform and when it tilts down and starts to fall, climb on its tail. Stand on the left wing of the platform to tilt it and direct it to the west side of the island.

Reach the lake and build a raft. Once you get to the other side of the lake, climb up to find the entrance to the Shrine.

Fourth Shrine

Nachoyah Shrine is the last shrine on Great Sky Island. It is located above the Room of Awakening, in the southern part of the island.

You can get to the Shrine by taking a shortcut from the Room of Awakening.

Look at the 2 gears from the starting location. They can lead you to a secret tunnel. Use Ascend to break through the ceiling next to the gears.

Use Recall to rewind the time on the gears and jump on the first one. Then jump into the small tunnel. At the end of the tunnel you will find the entrance to Nachoyah Shrine.
