While Pen effectively keeps the residents safe in My Time at Sadnrock, Burgess tries to match him. In the Instant Karma quest, the man will ask you a few questions and ask for a small favor.

This page contains a walkthrough of the Instant Karma side quest, during which you'll fill out Burgess's survey and clean up the sand in front of the church. You need a Feather Duster to complete the quest.
Quest time limit: 7 days
Reward: 300 EXP, 50 Gols, 10 Reputation, 5 Relationship with Burgess.
Starting the quest
You can accept this quest after the first sandstorm. Head towards the Church of the Light in the northern part of the town to meet Burgess and talk to him. He'll survey you about violence and banditry.
Burgess has three questions for you in total. Choosing the first answer each time will impress him, granting you 10 Relationship points. You'll then be asked to clean up the sand from the vases in front of the church.
Clean Up Sand
You need a Feather Duster to complete this objective. You'll find instructions on how to craft it on the Sand - how to remove? page.
Take the duster to the Church of the Light and use it on the sand-covered vases. It will take you a few seconds.
Talk to Burgess
To complete the quest you must talk to Burgess again. There's a good chance he'll be nearby. If it's late, he'll be in his apartment and you'll only be able to talk to him next day. Burgess will thank you for your help and the quest will be completed.
