No adventure can begin without the right hero. On the following page you will learn how to create your own character in My Time at Sandrock and what qualities you can give him/her.

This page of the My Time at Sandrock game guide contains tips on creating the main character. We explain which body parts can be modified, how to choose a hairstyle, and whether you can change your clothes. Character creation consists of three stages, during which you will get to select a name, gender, facial details, makeup, and more.
Basic information
In the first tab, you need to choose:
- Name;
- Gender - You can choose between Male or Female;
- Builder's Voice - There are 8 types to choose from. Although the character doesn't talk during the game, their voice can still be heard while performing certain actions. You can change the voice during the game in Game Settings.
Details
In the second tab, you can focus on the details of your character's appearance. If you want a unique-looking character but don't feel like manually editing every option, you can use the random character generator. Just click the dice icon in the upper right corner.
You can modify the following features of your character:
- Skin;
- Face Shape;
- Hair;
- Eyebrows;
- Eyes;
- Nose;
- Mouth;
- Facial Hair. You can choose between a mustache or beard;
- Face Tattoo;
- Eyeshadow;
- Blush;
- Lipstick.
Date of birth
The final step of character creation is choosing the character's birthday. You may receive a birthday gift on that particular day from your in-game friends. However, it makes no difference which day you choose.
The game begins in the summer, so if you want to take advantage of birthday privileges faster, you should choose the date right around this time of year.
Clothes - how to change?
You cannot change the default clothes when creating your character. Each character starts in a cactus-themed T-shirt and brown shorts. Once you start the game, you'll get access to new outfits, allowing you to fully customize your outfit to your liking.
