Mounting the engine is one of the more difficult parts of playing My Summer Car. This guide page explains how to use the jack, how to place the finished engine in the body of the Satsuma car, and how to connect the engine and gearbox to the rest of the vehicle.

In this section of the guide to My Summer Car, you will learn how to install a complex engine in the car. We show how to use the car jack to insert the engine into the body and what parts to connect to make everything work as it should. In addition, the chapter shows the final installation of the engine and its other necessary components.

How to prepare to install the engine?
Note - before inserting the engine into the body, you should install: CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER, BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER, BRAKE LINING and FUEL STRAINER. This can be done later, but the bolts will be much more difficult to see.
Installation of the listed parts is described below.
Fuel Strainer, Brake Master Cylinder and Clutch Master Cylinder
FUEL STRAINER goes on the back of the left wall, tightened with one 8 mm nut.
Install BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER on the right of the rear engine wall with two 8 mm bolts and one 9 mm.
CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER should be placed next to it. Again, attach it with two 8 mm bolts and one 9 mm.
Brake Lining
BRAKE LINING goes to the rear wall of the engine compartment. You need to find seven bolts and one on each wheel. All have a 7 mm size.
How to use a jack to put the engine in the body?
To install the engine, you will need the blue mini crane found in the garage. Prepare in advance the size 10 wrench.
Place the engine on the floor under the grip and use HOIST HANDLE to lower the grip to about half the height of the engine structure. When you reach the correct position, you will see two green screws. Tighten them with the size 10 wrench.
Now, raise the engine so it can hang over the compartment in the car. Move it above the body and slowly lower.
While you are lowering the engine, look for the green bolts. Two are in the front, in the corner of the sled, and one in the back. All of them are 11mm size.
If you see only one bolt in the front, try to move the crane a little bit or slightly lower or raise the engine.
The rear screw will be in the middle.
When you tighten all three, change the wrench to size 10 and unscrew the two bolts near the crane's grip. You can take it to the garage so it doesn't get in the way.
Electrics, Air Filter and Exhaust Pipe
Install ELECTRICS in the engine compartment using two 8mm nuts.
Insert the AIRFILTER on the top of the engine with two 6mm bolts.
Take the EXHAUST PIPE from the pit in the garage and insert it from the inside of the cabin, somewhere near the place for a jack and handbrake. Screw it with two 7mm bolts to the engine and one 7mm bolt from the rear.
Radiator and Radiator Hoses
Then, install the RADIATOR in front of the engine compartment. Secure it with four 7mm bolts.
RADIATOR HOSE 1, 2, 3 (this hose has three parts) goes from the radiator. Install them in that order without using any screws. Start with the radiator itself.
Inspection Cover
Install the clutch wires from the rear. Two 7mm bolts are near the cylinder, and next to the flywheel and gearbox.
Cover the clutch with INSPECTION COVER, attached with four 7mm bolts.
Half Shaft, Gear Linkage and Gear Stick
The next elements require easy access to the chassis. Crouch, go to the push mode (J key) and push the car into the garage on the pit. You can easily push it from the side to adjust the direction.
Tighten both HALF SHAFTS for the gearbox with three 9mm bolts.
GEAR LINKAGES are attached to the gearbox with three 5mm bolts. Look for green nuts and use the right wrench.
You probably know where GEAR STICK goes. Three 6 mm bolts in the cabine.
Handbrake
The placement for the HANDBRAKE is also obvious. Four 8mm bolts are inside. One 5mm is under the car, in the rear, next to the left wheel.
Fuel Tank, Muffler and Fuel Tank Pipe
The FUEL TANK goes under the trunk. Look for seven 11mm bolts and one 12mm.
Install MUFFLER near the fuel tank with one 7mm bolt.
Connect the fuel filler with the FUEL TANK PIPE. In about this location.
How to finish the work?
The dirtiest work is done. Time to get the car out of the garage!
