The Jungle is one of the hidden northern regions of Vanaheim in God of War Ragnarok. The Jungle is one of the hidden regions of The Crater in northern Vanaheim. We've described how to unlock The Jungle and neighboring Plains and Sinkholes regions in more detail on the Reaching the Crater in Vanaheim page of the guide.
Some secrets in The Jungle are separated by chasms, which can only be accessed after opening the dam - this is described in detail on Chasms in the Crater in Vanaheim page of the guide. Note - Some of the described finds and locations can only be accessed during a certain time of the day - more on this in Can you change the time of the day? page in the FAQ section.
Artifact - An Organization: In the Future
Category: Kvasir's Poems
This artifact is obtainable at nighttime. Start off from the Plains region and use the south-western passage to the Jungle. You'll come across the secret while making your way there - the artifact is next to a corpse.
Lore #1 - The Unforgiven
Category: Lore Markers.
You'll find the runes on top of the dam. After using the elevator, dispatch the monsters and interact with the secret.
Dragon Hunt #1 - What Lies Below
This side quest starts automatically once you reach the other side of the dam in the western part of the Jungle. You'll learn about two Dreki you'll need to face.

Dragon Hunt #2 - Trail of the Dead
This side quest starts automatically once you open the dam and flood the Crater. After going down an elevator you'll learn you can now reach a dragon's lair.

Dragon Hunt #3 - Path of Destruction
This side quest starts automatically once you reach the north-western part of the jungle. After making your way through the rocks you'll find an empty mini-boss lair and you'll need to lure the drake inside.

Favour - Casualties of War: The Toy
You can unlock this favour by finding a ghost named Andor - he's in the southern part of the jungle, available only after opening the dam and flooding the Crater.

Nornir Chest
The Nornir Chest is located in the southern part of the Jungle, accessible only after opening the dam.
To complete the puzzle you must throw your axe at the targets to line up correct runes.
Two of them are nearby, being very easy to find. The third one is a bit more problematic - you must reach the lair of the dragon encountered in the Trail of the Dead favour (described in our walkthrough). After defeating the dragon turn towards the western tower pictured above - now you can throw the axe at the final target. You can also unlock a shortcut and descend on the chain.
Legendary Chest #1
Reward: Whisper of the World - light runic attack for the Draupnir Spear.
This chest is located on the shelf underneath the dragon's lair, in the eastern part of the Jungle (accessible only after opening the dam).
The legendary chest starts off covered by red vines and thus inaccessible.
Create three seals on the ceiling - you must create one of them within range of Kratos' blades, then hit it with them. You'll cause a chain reaction and destroy the vines, letting you grapple towards the ledge on the other side.
Odin's Ravens
This raven can be found on the rocks in the eastern part of the Jungle. Throw the axe at it.
A Stag for All Seasons
There are 4 stags to find around The Crater and there is a favour involving them. To complete this mission, you first need to get feed - only then you can interact with the stags. This is described in detail on the A Stag of All Seasons page of our walkthrough.
This stag is located in the north-western part of the Jungle. You can reach this area after opening the dam AND changing the time of day to daytime (celestial altar). You can now use the hook pictured above, found above water.
You'll find the stag soon after reaching the new upper part of the Jungle. It waits by the path leading to the local boss' lair.
Lore #2 - City of Possibility
Category: Rune Reads.
You'll find blue runes on the wall in the north-western part of the Jungle. They're located in the ruins with an elevator, near the mini-boss's lair (Path of Destruction favour).
Legendary Chest #2
Reward: Jewel of Yggdrasil - can be spent at the shop to unlock a spell slot in the amulet
