While traversing the world of God of War Ragnarok, you will visit a wide variety of locations, where, in addition to completing the main story missions, you will be able to take part in side activities (optional locations) and search for hidden items.
Page in progress. All relevant information related to exploration in God of War Ragnarok will be added once the game has launched.
There will undoubtedly be plenty to do in God of War Ragnarok, as players will visit all 9 worlds during the course of the game: Midgard, Alfheim, Asgard, Vanaheim, Niflheim, Muspelheim, Helheim, Svartalfheim and Jotunheim. Each location will have different flora and fauna, so the gameplay is sure to be very varied.
Means of transport
In God of War Ragnarok, Kratos and Atreus will traverse most of the world on foot, but they will also be able to use various modes of transportation, including one brand new one:
- Boat: a transportation method returning from the previous installment of the series.
- Sled: sleds pulled by two wolves will appear in snowy locations.
The map, as in the 2018 God of War game, will most likely be divided into all 9 worlds, and each location will be described in detail in terms of its completion - artifacts, chests and so on.
