Data Cell is one of the items you can collect while exploring the map of Deep Rock Galactic. Collect Data Cell to speed up the leveling process of your Performance Pass by 1,250 points. You will also get a little bit of XP and a few credits.

Data Cell, as the name suggests, stores data. It can be obtained in two ways:

1. By opening Prospector Data Deposit: the process of opening this deposit is the same as in the Industrial Sabotage mission;
2. Dropped by Prospector Drone enemies: these are passive robots that can be encountered in random locations on the map. Once attacked, a Prospector Drone will try to escape and call for reinforcements. However, the Drone won't attack you.
