In this chapter, we present the traits of all the characters available in Deep Rock Galactic. We also give you a handful of tips that may be useful during the game. The description of each character also includes recommended weapon upgrades as well as perks.

There are currently four characters available in Deep Rock Galactic - none of them has to be unlocked first:

1. Driller;
2. Engineer;
3. Gunner;
4. Scout.

Each of the Deep Rock Galactic characters is equipped with basic mining gear such as a helmet with a headlamp, a pickaxe, a manual terrain scanner that detects minerals, and flares. In addition, each has different special equipment such as main and additional weapons, special side weapons, grenades or other throwable gadgets. They also represent a different style of play. Such a wide variety of characters makes it possible for each player to find a class that will suit their needs and preferences.
