Exit to the map of the island.
Starting area. You begin exploring the island here.
Lift. A conversation with Kipeha will trigger automatically after reaching the elevator. You can provoke combat, leave, pay 1000 gold, use Diplomacy 8/Bluff 9, warn about the slavers' plans ("Tip of the Spear" quest - M37) or mention the queen (Fruitful Alliance" side quest from M25 - say the password "Over crumbling mountains, across blighted seas"). Convincing Kipeha will result in unlocking the elevator. If you've failed your attempt then you can enter the sanctum near the waterfall (04). You can trade with Kipeha (she's selling a unique ring, supplies, food, alchemy ingredients and other things) and ask her for free rest.

Ruasare's bedchamber. You can get here by choosing the path by the waterfall (05). You can place the Infested Koiki from (03) in a bowl with other fruits. This will allow to poison Ruasare. Chest with valuable items. A switch unlocks access to the throne room (11).
Wahaki Shrine. You can place a bomb here (grenade, cinder bomb) and thanks to that get rid of Burapo in the future.
Meditation chamber. Some containers have valuable loot (inluding a necklace and scrolls), but even simply looking inside them may trigger the tribesmen to attack the team. Tangara appears here - he's one of the important tribesmen for you to kill as a part of the "Tip of the Spear" quest (M37). If you want to kill him without triggering a fight then collect a construct command scroll from him and then reprogram the machine.
Throne room. Chieftain Ruasare is here. You can attack her and other important tribesmen to fulfill the requirements of the "Tip of the Spear" quest (M37) or help the tribesmen in dealing with the slavers by unlocking a new quest "Cruel Cargo". There's a secret floor plate next to the throne - touching it unlocks the entrance to the treasure chamber (12).

The map above shows the island of Ori o Koki inhabited by the natives. This location is related to a number of optional tasks of Pillars of Eternity 2 Deadfire, during which you can communicate with the natives and help them or murder the most important people from the village. The main part of the village and the sanctuary where the local chief is found are to be examined.

Important places in Ori o Koiki

2. Elevator. After approaching the elevator, an interview with Kipeha will automatically start. You can provoke her to fight, leave, pay 1000 gold, use Diplomacy 8 / Bluff 9, warn about plans of slave hunters (quest Tip of the Spear - M37) or rely on the queen (quest Fruitful Alliance from M25 - say the slogan "Over crumbling mountains, across blighted seas"). Convincing Kipeha will lead to the unlocking of the elevator. If you've broken the trial, you can reach the sanctuary from the waterfall (M38,4).

You can trade with Kipeha after you've used the lift and she'll have several things to sell e.g. a unique ring, supplies, food and alchemy ingrediens. She also offers free rest (without a stat bonus).

4. Cliff. You can climb the wall to reach the side entrance to the sanctuary (M38,5). A character with high Survival can perform reconnaissance. A character with high skills Athletics and Survival, can pass the test of climbing (finding a safe route) - his collapse, can lead to the emergence of injury.

7. The main entrance to the sanctuary. Auata knows a member of the Tekehu team (it's worth traveling with him around the village).

Aparo is guarding the entrance to the sanctuary - you can talk to him to be let in, leave or attack the natives.

11. Throne room. The chief Ruasare stays here. You can kill her and other important natives to fulfill Tip of the Spear (M37) (open fight or trick) quests or help the natives deal with slavers, starting a new Barbarian Alliance quest.

Next to the throne, there is a secret pressure plate - touching it, opens the passage to the room with treasures (M38,12). In the chamber, there is a closed chest with an eight-level lock - it conceals a high-quality club, armor and belt. Other chests are open - you will find, among others cape, shoes, jewels and gold.

Quests to unlock in Ori o Koiki

[Missions] Cruel Cargo - Talk to Ruasare (M38,11) and promise help in dealing with slavers.

Quests continued in Ori o Koiki

[Missions] Tip of the Spear (M37) - You must kill the most important people in the village (Ruasare, Burapo, Tangara).

[Huana] Fruitful Alliance (M25) - Meet the commander Ruasare (M38,11).

Important independent characters in Ori o Koiki

Kipeha (M38,2) - You must convince her to let the team into the village. Alternatively, you can start a fight or find another passage to the sanctuary. If you have been admitted, you can trade with Kipeha (she sells, a unique ring, supplies, food and alchemy ingredients among other things) and ask her for a free rest.

Aparo (M38,7) - He is watching the main entrance to the sanctuary.

Ruasare (M38,11) - You can kill her and other important natives or promise help as part of the newly initiated quest Cruel Cargo

Other information related to Ori o Koiki

It's a good idea to visit the island in the company of Tekehu, a "full-fledged" member of the team, which you can recruit in the Watershapers Guild in Neketaka (M33,1). It will guarantee you many more dialog options, including during a conversation with Auata, before entering the sanctuary.

The interests of the natives "quarrel" with the interests of slave hunters from the Crookspur Island (M37). You have to make a decision about allying with only one of these groups. You can specifically murder the natives, at the request of slave hunters, or help the natives, deal with the hunters and release the people they are holding.

On your way to the village, you can visit the orchard to get fruits. There is also an explorable shipwreck near the island, but you need to take your own ship to get there (it is not possible to get there by land).
