Pillars Of Eternity 2: How to get to Arkemyr's Manor in Neketaka? Pillars Of Eternity 2 Guide and Walkthrough

Last update: 20 November 2022

Arkemyr's Manor is one of the biggest locations you can visit in Pillars of Eternity 2 Deadfire. The building is located in the Periki's Overlook in Neketaka City (M15,3). The mansion is closed by default, but you can choose how to go about this problem. The solutions are listed below.

Attention - before entering the mansion, make sure your team members are around level 11-12. This should ensure their survival in case of getting exposed by imps or constructs.

Variant 1 - Main door entrance

The first method is the most obvious and it assumes entering through the main door (M15,3) - Pillars Of Eternity 2: How to get to Arkemyrs Manor in Neketaka? - FAQ - Pillars Of Eternity 2 Deadfire Game Guide

The first method is the most obvious and it assumes entering through the main door (M15,3). This is a good solution if you want to get in as fast as possible.

The main door can be opened in a few ways. The first solution is to use Mechanics 10 (or slightly lower Mechanics combined with a lock pick) to break the lock. Another way would be to complete the side quest Velvet Glove, Brass Fist for Fassina (M15,4) - the walkthrough to that one is available on the Remaining side quests on Neketaka Island in our guide. It's particularly important that you mention the subject of the archmage's manor during the conversation with Fassina and ask for the key as the reward for the favor you do to her. You will get it at the end of the quest. If you don't tell Fassina you want the key, she'll give you something else.

Variant 2 - Secret entrance through baths

The other method assumes using the secret passage in the Luminous Bathhouse (M15,8) - Pillars Of Eternity 2: How to get to Arkemyrs Manor in Neketaka? - FAQ - Pillars Of Eternity 2 Deadfire Game Guide

The other method assumes using the secret passage in the Luminous Bathhouse (M15,8). This isn't a very good choice. Despite the fact that you'll get to the labs in the basement of the manor, there's also the risk of triggering the alarm if you make a mistake with the stone wall (M32,14).

After entering the Luminous Bathhouse use the stairs leading to the boiler room (M24,5). The secret passage is highlighted above. You'll have to complete a simple paragraph scene.

Variant 3 - sling a rope and get to the roof

The last solution is the most secret one - Pillars Of Eternity 2: How to get to Arkemyrs Manor in Neketaka? - FAQ - Pillars Of Eternity 2 Deadfire Game Guide

The last solution is the most secret one. It's about slinging a rope from the window on the first floor of The Dark Cupboard (M15,4). This is a recommended solution if you want to loot the manor without fighting.

Enter the Dark Cupboard and use the spiral staircase to get to the first floor. Examine the window highlighted above. This will trigger a paragraph scene, during which you will have to use a rope with a hook to create a passage and then pass an Athletics test (it has low requirements). If you're successful, your team will get to the Arkemyr Manor roof (M15,9). You can enter the building right away or (and that's a better idea) enter the bedroom first (M32,8) and collect Arkemyr's Old Clothes, which let you avoid being detected by imps and constructs (you should also take Arkemy'r Notes and read it!).
