Unlocking the quest
You can start this mission after cleansing the Shiroyama Shrine. This can happen while completing Chapter 2. A quest marker should automatically appear on the map.
You can get this quest from the Repair Worker. The ghost is levitating next to the hotel building, near the graffiti walls and air conditioners.
Check out the 4th floor of the hotel
Use the nearby hotel entrance. You will meet the first Visitor in the lobby, but you can easily sneak up on them and perform a quick purge.
Summon the elevator next to which the enemy was standing. Take it to the 4th floor.
After reaching 4F, take a walk along the corridor. The nurikabe yokai will appear in place of the left door at the end of the corridor. It won't be hostile towards you, allowing you to simply approach and absorb it to obtain a matagama.
Search the hotel room
Absorbing the yokai will unlock the entrance to the hotel room. Inside, you'll find the Man's Note lying on the table by the bed and the secret Utamaro Ukiyo-e treasure hanging on the wall.
Return to the elevator, descend to the ground floor and exit the hotel. You can now complete the mission by talking to the quest-giver.
As you progress through the game, more nurikabe and other yokai markers will appear on the map. You can reach them in order to absorb them and obtain more magatama.
