This page of our guide features a walkthrough of the Stone Tablets quest. You will learn the locations of three tablets, head to the Trader to combine them into one large tablet and visit the Ancient Lighthouse.
You'll need Packed Explosives to blast your way through obstacles to complete the quest. We've explained how to acquire explosives on the How to remove Debris? page.

Unlocking the quest - finding the Stone Tablet
To start the quest you need to find a Stone Tablet. It doesn't matter which one exactly. We've pinpointed the locations of all three Tablets on the map above. There's a good chance you've accidentally dredged one out already while exploring Devil's Spine, in which case the quest should already be active.
There are monsters in Devil's Spine, so be careful. Drive them away with Banish. Try to maneuver between the ruins carefully as to not damage your ship and lose the acquired Tablets.
#1 Stone Tablet

- Location: Devil's Spine, sector Q13
- Requirements: none
You'll find this Stone Tablet in the ruins by the southern island in Devil's Spine.
Dredge there and complete the minigame to get it.
#2 Stone Tablet

- Location: Devil's Spine, sector P13
- Requirements: none
The second Tablet is located in the ruins by Devil's Spine's largest island. Weave carefully through the rubble as to not damage the ship.
Dredge there to get the second Stone Tablet.
#3 Stone Tablet

- Location: Devil's Spine, sector O15
- Required Rod : Packet Explosives
The last Tablet can be found near the two northernmost islands.
To reach the dredging spot you must first blow up the Debris blocking your way. Make sure you have some Packet Explosives with you.
Talking to the Trader in Little Marrow
Head to Little Marrow in The Marrows. By this point in the game you should already have access to Manifest. Use it to fast travel to Blackstone Isle. You should reach the Trader much quicker from there.
Show him the Tablets. He'll tell you they're parts of a larger whole.
After a while, the Trader will give you a Fused Tablet and suggest it must have some significant use. Move the Tablet to your cargo hold.
Using the Fuse Tablet in the Ancient Lighthouse
Head to the Ancient Ruins. It's the northernmost dock in the Devil's Spine. Once there, visit the Ancient Lighthouse.
Approach the door - the game will let you know you can insert an item into it. Move the Fused Tablet from the cargo hold to the window on the left side of the screen.
This opens the door, rewarding you with:
- Flame of the Sky - a light you can install on your ship. It occupies 3x1 slots in the cargo hold and reaches 3,500lm. This is the best light in the game, by far.
- 4x Trinket.
This completes the quest. You can now return to the Trader and sell the loot so it doesn't take up any more Cargo or Storage space.
