The Pale Reach DLC for Dredge adds new achievements to the game so you will need to get them to have 100% completion. Below you can find our trophy guide for the expansion, discussing all 8 new achievements in detail.
For trophies from the base game, visit the dedicated page. On PS4/PS5 consoles, completing The Pale Reach achievements is not required for the platinum trophy from the base game, which means DLC trophies form a separate set.

Polar Angler
How to unlock: Catch all known species of fish in The Pale Reach.
Trophy type: silver
Comment: New species include:
- Icefish;
- Char;
- Wolffish;
- Stargazer;
- Lizardfish;
- Toothfish;
- Goblin Shark;
- Colossal Squid;
- Sea Stars;
- King Crab;
- Sleeper Shark.
Depending on the species, you need to pair the right Fish Rod with the correct fishery, use Crab Pots, or a Trawl Net.
Two specimens may prove to be problematic:
- Char, exceptionally, is a fish not of Ice category, but Coastal. You must have an adequate fishing rod (e.g. Versatile Rod from the base game) and reach one of a few Coastal fisheries appearing in Pale Reach.
- Sleeper Shark is the most rare specimen, with only one fishery having this type of shark - we show it in the screenshot above - it is near Southern Locus.
Cold Corruptions
How to unlock: Catch all aberrations in The Pale Reach.
Trophy type: silver
Comment: Same as in the base game, you have a chance of fishing an Aberration every time you fish for the standard version of the species on which it is based. You have to continue fishing, as this type of fish caught is entirely random.
You can measure your progress in catching Aberrations by visiting the encyclopedia. If you're missing an Aberration based on a specific species (Goblin Shark in the example from the screenshot), visit their fisheries more often or set up more Crab Pots and Trawl Nets.
Feeding Time
How to unlock: Feed the Narwhal.
Trophy type: bronze
Comment: This achievement in unlocked during the main story. For this trophy, you must complete The Narwhal quest which is described in detail on the DLC Quests page of the guide.
Under the Ice
How to unlock: Finish the main quest in The Pale Reach.
Trophy type: silver
Comment: This achievement in unlocked during the main story. For this trophy, you must complete the biggest quest from the DLC - Under the Ice - we describe it in detail on the DLC Quests page of the guide.
Frozen Favors
How to unlock: Finish all side quests in The Pale Reach.
Trophy type: silver
Comment: The list and walkthroughs for The Pale Reach quests can be found on the DLC Quests page of the guide. Ice Shaper and Figure in White are optional quests that don't count toward the main story.
Icebreaker
How to unlock: Equip the Icebreaker.
Trophy type: bronze
Comment: This achievement in unlocked during the main story. For this trophy, you must complete Icebreaker quest which we describe in detail on the DLC Quests page of the guide.
Fresh Fish
How to unlock: Have 5 ice blocks in your cargo.
Trophy type: bronze
Comment: This trophy is related to the Ice Shaper quest, which is described on the DLC Quests page of the guide. In the course of this mission, you must fish out the Ice Shaper device and return with it to Travelling Merchant in Bleak Pontoon.
After completing this quest, you can buy Ice Blocks from the merchant that take the form of larger and smaller variants. Purchase at least 5 Ice Blocks and have them all in the cargo hold window on the right side of the screen.
From the Black Depths
How to unlock: Catch the Colossal Squid.
Trophy type: bronze
Comment: Colossal Squid is one of the more unique specimens possible to fish out in The Pale Reach DLC. To be able to catch the squid, you're going to need Radiant Trawl Net. We describe the entire process of catching this species on the How to catch Colossal Squid? page.
