On this page of the Dredge game guide, you will find out whether you can use fast travel or whether there are other ways to reach important places on the world map quickly. We have also prepared a list of practical tips on how to prepare for longer journeys , e.g. for the first travels to other regions of the map.
Traveling to distant locations
In Dredge, you have to sail manually to distant locations on the world map. Before starting any such travel, we advise you to prepare accordingly:
- Set sail at dawn to travel during the day and avoid the danger related to sailing at night (collision with rocks, filling the Panic gauge, etc.).
- See if you can equip better engines or more engines. This will allow you to reach new regions faster.
- Choose dots on the world map as your destination , i.e. locations that can become docks when discovered. This will allow you to rest safely there and, for example, wait out the night.
Manifest ability - quick return to Blackstone Isle
As you progress in the main storyline, you need to find the Music Box artifact in the Gale Cliffs region - this is part of the Pursuit called The Collector .
Return the artifact to the Collector and he will reward you with the Manifest ability (selected from the drop-down menu). It allows you to return to Blackstone Isle immediately, which is the island where the Collector's headquarter is. You can use this ability every time you find an artifact from The Collector quest or to quickly return to the first region of The Marrows.
