Diary 1/9 - Missives from Home

Check out the area at the foot of the tower

This diary is hidden in the Eastern part of the city, i.e. at the foot of the tower right next to one of the AA stations. Go to search for the document only after you have secured the area (apart from the AA station crew, there also is a soldier with a machine gun on the tower).

Diary 2/9 - Axis Account: Desert Ghost

Take a look on the ground, near one of the buildings

This diary can be found while crossing the North-Eastern part of the city. It is on the ground, near the barricaded door of one of the buildings.

Diary 3/9 - Letters to Martin

Search through the room on the ground floor

This diary is in the room on the ground floor of the building located in the Northern part of the city. It is the same building hat you visit along your path to the sniper nest and to where the enemy sniper is.

Diary 4/9 - Survival Notes: Desert Sniping I

This diary is on the ground in one of the ruined buildings, in the North-Western part of the old city. Around, there are many enemies so, take precautions and clear the area, before you go for the collectible.

Diary 5/9 - Vahlen's Journal: Home Away from Home

Climb the ladder to the upper floor of the building

This diary has been hidden inside one of the buildings in the North-Western part of the city. Watch out for the nearby enemies and locate the ladder, thanks to which you will reach the upper floor of the building. It is at the upper level that the diary is.

Diary 6/9 - Survival Notes: Healing

The diary is in the storage

This diary can be found after you reach the building in the Western part of the city and it is one of the storages (a secondary mission objective). Along your path to the collectible, watch out for the enemies, including the sniper around here.

Diary 7/9 - Axis War Story: Assassination Attempt

The collectible is on the crate

This diary is next to the South-Western walls of the city. During the exploration of the walls, watch out for the enemy soldiers and stop after you reach the area with several crates in it.

Diary 8/9 - Axis Account: Missing in Action

The building with the document is not being guarded by anyone

This diary is inside the building that neighbors Vahlen's office and it is in the Southern part of the city. Take the stairs and enter the building, where you meet no enemies.

Diary 9/9 - Vahlen's Journal: Smooth Progress

Search through the officer's corpse

This diary is on the enemy officer that you follow towards the end of the mission. This means that obtaining this document is required by the mission's objective and you cannot skip it.

Note - The marker on the map, provided with the walkthrough, marks the spot in which the officer stops(an opportunity to complete the secondary mission objective) but, you can also attack him a bit earlier.
